I Love ringus base. Been using it since the first day in TH9 and now already have max defensewise. All Lvl9 walls. Heroes lvl 15. But now with the introduction of the new mortar. How should i tweak the base to give space for new def?
Thinking of to stay in th9 to grind for lvl 10 walls and max heroes. ;)
Are you going to update the base to make it 4 mortars compatible?
I use the DE version as my daily base. I moved a cannon outside the wall opposite from the side the with cannon already outside. The new mortar is in the corner by the hidden tesla by the TH.
I have not been challenged other than DE lighting strikes because my gold and elixir hasn't been much higher than 3 million since making the change.
The only other mod on my base is I put the TH all the way in the corner and space out the buildings to cover up for that. I like giving TH snipers free cups for a free shield. There have been a couple of people who were taking a real shot AND trying for the TH, but for the most part it's been better, because I get my shields faster.
For my war base I am doing it wrong but people don't seem to know. I put the mortar behind a wiz tower, but nobody is going for it. If 2 people hit it the right way I will look for a real solution.
Both versions of the base have been awesome. I have 5 defenses upgrading sometimes and I still don't get hit as hard as I would have expected. It's nice to have 4 of each bins, because the space in this base insures nobody can get to more than 2 of each even if you are upgrading defense faster than you should.
Just a quick note to say I retired from the game this week. More of a fizzle-quit than a rage quit. I've parked myself in "Azure Retired". I will pop on once a week to keep myself in the search queue and see where my retirement base is in cups.
I wanted to say thanks to everyone who followed this thread and contributed to it this year. I started it with the notion of giving base designers a few ideas regarding ring bases. Almost 600k views later... woah!
