Ringus: An Early-Mid TH9 Farming Hog-Cleansing Design

I've been using the Ringus for about a week now (switched from Black Diamond design at about 2000 cups due to Hog attacks) and I am winning so many more defensive cups now. The double bomb is devastating to Maxed Hogs and Giants also. I have maxed TH9 defenses except my walls, which are Skulled, and I have no problems wiping out any Hog/Giant, Bam or Barch ground attack. Ballooions are a different story but they still have not even 2 starred me yet. I do not get enough air attacks to warrant worrying about having AD's in the first ring, but you could swap Tesla's around and move the AD's to the inner core if you need the air protection the most often.

I know you prefer to have the funnels in place. That is a quick and simple mod to the base I just posted. Here it is:

Can confirm it still works at around 2750 cups and still climbe.

I'm Shadeslayer from Land of RP. I've been using this thread as a guideline ever since I hit TH9. I love your original Farming design, I use it all of the time. At the moment, I am using the DE saver and it is amazing. Although I am happy with these, are there any changes you have made to these in the past, or other TH9 versions of the ringus base that you have used and really liked? If so, it doesn't have to be farming. ICould you pull some out or link me to your fav?

I tried lots of changes during my time at TH9 but nothing was better than the original designs, the DE saver in particular. One thing to do now it is a little more older and a little more popular is remember to change the positions of the traps. Mess with the scoundrels who have seen Ringus before. Especially the double Giant Bombs. Attackers expect them in the left/right holes (per design) and if not then symmetrical north/south. Do neither. Keep the fools guessing.

Interestingly I've seen a few, "Oh Ringus is so popular now, everyone knows how to crack it", and I say poppycock! I was using Ringus right up until I went to TH10. Trust me, my loot is more important than my ego. If I found something better I'd have used that. Ringus is still a decent farming base good against defence-led troops. And in a bid to escape ring bases I tried many times during TH9 to do something more 'traditional' both farming and pushing. Every time the damn pigs would turn up and clean me out. I strongly maintain that a ring base at TH9 is absolutely essential because there is no alternative against hogs and heals.

Thanks to your base i reached master III about a week ago :) even with an xbow upgrading and my new defenses still at low level. Congrats for making such an effective base. Overall it's so funny to see all those hogs diying in a sec xD
Unfortunately i didn't had succes against armies with a lot of wall breakers where i'm farming so i change my design. But it doesn't change the fact this design of yours is awesome. Thanks again!

Thanks for the feedback! I'll make sure to switch those traps around, I've had attackers massively damage me by avoiding those bombs. These Ringus base designs are very helpful, thanks!
