Ringus: An Early-Mid TH9 Farming Hog-Cleansing Design

Here is my updated take on Om3gaSe7en's modified version of the farming Ringus base seen here:

The changes I made include:

1. Moving the Hidden Teslas a bit farther from the core to make is less likely that attackers would break from the ring and head to the core.

2. Changing the wall setup so attackers have to break through at least three sets of walls to get to the core.

3. Improved protection of the Gold Storages.

The wall setup is not perfect but I think it is better than the original design by Om3gaSe7en. This base has worked better from me than the original Ringus farming base as well.

If it's working for you that's all that matters. One thing I've found that really works is pushing any defences outside the walls in by one (you just have the one cannon there). Lines of non-defence-led troops (barbs/wizards/minions/pekkas) will head for closer buildings either side before going for the defence. In reality that means the defence gets a few more shots off before being swamped, but hey, everything helps right.

TH9 Ringi only have one or two of these but most of my TH10 designs (I think I'm at around 40 now) have them on every side.

Do you have a favorite TH10 design yet?

Wouldn't the gold be better protected when you swap it for the elixir storages? In the farm elixir base, because I get raided and lose my gold but my elixir is fine or?

Heh, I'm not that organised. I try and do 3 or 4 every day and every so often something clicks and I think, 'ooh that's good.' - With the first Ringus I did this for a few weeks until I found myself doing the same design over and over again. That was the starting point for testing and it evolved from there.

Great question and there is no definitive answer. Many times I've thought the same and swapped them over. It sometimes worked and it sometimes didn't. As usual, try it and see.

I used your design for a month now. It works well. And takenote to those low level players ringus will not work if your defenses are low levels. This works for me because my defenses are way maxing out glad that everytime i am maxing my storages and someone tries to steal my money. They failed. Thanks to centralized CC coverage.

Hey there, I am a new th9 and was just wondering if this base would work for me. I maxed all defenses for th8 and have all lvl 7 walls and have both xbows being build as of right now. This base looks great and based on feedback works great too. If I am too early to use it, when should I start using it?

You can use it right after your xbows are done. Your defenses are not low like anyone else uses it with low defenses. This would work on you.
