It is pointless even trying to defend against barch in this game. Understanding Andrew Wiles' proof of Fermat's Last Theorem is easier. Don't. Even. Try.

Not pointless... You can do better against barch, but you can't prevent it from being effective.
In Ringus, the Wizard Towers do hit troops attacking the defences at certain points in the ring, but they are mainly there to annihilate anything breaching the fluff or core layers. They add decent air cover from attacks like Balloonians too.
Beware copying my sketches! I've never tested them so do not know how they would perform.
Taking a quick look at your base, be really careful with those top and bottom Air Defences as the jump between them and the core X-Bows isn't very large. If you look at the sketch I didn't use a defence item in those positions. I used two Mortars in the middle fluff compartments because they sat adjacent to the hero and storage (non-defence items) in the core. So if you see Giants/Hogs/Balloons hit either top/bottom AD and then turn to your X-Bows replace them with something like Gold Mines.
The four holes in the middle should be for Teslas. If you're not going to try them in there then that is wasted space and you should just use the original Ringus design on the first page (which is the only design I'm endorsing here!).
How would you base design be with th10?
How would your ring be than?
I'm not an expert, but if this is a anti hog base, then why centralise the air defence? Surely, you'd want to centralise storages, or a defence that's good at taking out hogs. Nice base btw.
With another week left until my 4x14d Tesla upgrade-athon is over I thought try a trophy Ringus. The Town Hall inside is alien to me. In the 1600-2600 farming range I'd normally use a farming layout because I consider it superior for protecting both resources and trophies. However, it is good for finding great players to attack me (90% of farming-design opponents are TH-snipes).
Here is the design...

The first defence resulted in a win...

They lured the heroes out before the main thrust of the attack. Giants and hogs stuck to the ring. I see myself swapping the Wizard Towers around for Mortars/AirDefence depending on how it performs. It is noteworthy to watch the damage a handful of hogs from the Clan Castle and a heal spell did to the core. Even with the nerfs hogs remain very dangerous for TH9.
(Once this experiment is over I'll add the design and replays to the first post.)
I guess thats true, I failed alot when I did my last trophy push and thought I could beat the disco balls with hogs..
Oh man I thought wrong! well i have a month to find a good th10 base, think I am ready about than!
Have your current base, but still no attacks execpt on my TH. Thats good for now :D
I'm no expert either! I try things out, watch the replays and adjust accordingly. The ring concept works well against all defence-led troops (DLT). Hogs are the most prolific and dangerous of this group. The storages exist in the middle layer to act as a buffer of 'fluff' which the DLT cannot cross easily. The more space I'd reserve in the core for storages the less spots I'd have for those crucial defence items which I'm relying on for defence.
You need good air cover in the core to stop Mass Dragons and Balloonians from crushing you.
Also, promoting the design as Anti-hog sounds better than Anti-defence-led-troop. :)
