[Challenge] to try this out

So from experience I have never been hit successfully by Valkyries nor have I ever used Valkyries in a successful and cost effective way. Every unit in the game as far as I can tell has a place and a home in some attack composition in one way or another but, not the valkyrie. I believe this troop is severally neglected and there has GOT TO BE A WAY to make them work and make them work WELL. you think you can do it?

So this is my challenge.

INCLUDE VALKYRIE IN YOUR ATTACK COMPOSITION

and it must have a role and a purpose not just randomly thrown in there

I was attacked someone and a valk came out of the CC, so i dropped like 10 archers in one spot and the valk swung its axe and took out ALL the archers! Note to self: Never drop a pack of barbs or archers in one spot to defeat a valk lol.

I really do not see a point in valks except for the clan castle... why would you train a valkyrie instead of a wizard or a giant? Valks cost dark elixir while the others cost elixir which is easier to come by... I am sorry but valks are almost worthless when you take into account it cost and training time. :/

Valks have higher dps then giants and tank better then wizards. There must b a use for them.

Really glad you asked. Like fed said, they are AMAZING CC troops. Also...
They are VERY tanky, and can easily take out CC troops and Heroes (2 level 1 valks vs 1 lvl 1 barb king? Valks win!)
Used in smaller quantities, they can very quickly and effectively take out the outer buildings.

If you let them get in your base... you're screwed.

With their small splash damage (Almost like a balloon's) they are really good at taking out a small T section!

Let me know if any of you guys have any corrections or anything to add! x)

I managed to let 7 valks get inside a vault once

they took down maybe 2.5 out of 8 storages.

Really? o.O What lvl were they, and what lvl were the defences?

Those lv1 valks were taking hits from a few lv8-lv9 defenses, but most were occupied by my pekka.
Although they hit hard their DPS isn't very amazing, I should've backed them up a with a rage.

Right now I'm just using them as spare giants until my lab finishes lv5 giant

Look up Unity Sharp's videos on youtube. In some of his WHM raids and his DFE raids, he always had a Valk in the CC.
