Was farming always the main thing to do?

My friend and I hunted and we always made a competition about it, I was the first to make it to 1250 trophies at TH6 :). But he quit now... He always told me farmers were stupid and not to do it, so I didn't. Then somewhere along the line something introduced me to farming and I tried it, Ive farmed ever since.

Semi-Pushing to 1250 now, just to get that done, then ill probably farm until TH9 :) he he.. Really i have no idea, im such a noob :)

I, like many, pushed for trophies early in the game. Everyone at that level thinks there is some prestige in having trophies.

As time went on, and to this day, I almost exclusively farm. My focus is almost always gold, sometimes hunting for DE for BK and AQ. Elixir is just a by-product of farming.

At around th7, I realized farming was the best for improving offense and defense and trophies didn't mean much.

However, I did push and made masters at th8, just for the gems.

I'm currently lvl88, th9, working on maxing it. I love the grind of farming walls.

I woulda probably pushed but I couldn't. I still can't, but now its coz the farmer in me dies when it sees a 400k base that I'll have to lose trophies to get the loot on. And my friends had been playing for a while but they were complete noobs. They told me I was stupid for staying at th8 so long and maxing my wiz towers coz "wiz towers suk and are real expensive." I was a premmie th8 and am almost finished now. They are still premmie, inactive, th9's.
