Just a poll to see the percentage of farmers and pushers :)
However, I often enjoy push farming. However, after the boosting season ended and I did try actually pushing for trophies I realized that I am a farmer. True trophy pushing is too stressful/time consuming.
should add i farm but occasionally push and i push but i occasionally farm
I farm for my upgrades but enjoy a lot more pushing!
I farm most of the time, although occasionally I will push to see how far I can get.
I farm, til i push. So overall i farm.
Farm...occasionally push..
I farm, my gold grab (700+ mill) is enough proof. It's not super high but enough to showcase my manner of playing this game.
It's a close race!
Do hard core trophy pushers let their builders sleep?
you need to farm (for upgrades) in order to push
according to this, every person playing clash of clans is farming
Pretty much. Pushing is annoying.
Farm, and push every month or so to see how all those new upgrades hold up :)
I am a farmer at heart. but tbh, busting up collectors takes little-to-no skill. Spam troops on collectors, profit.. leave. (yawn.. but base improvement needs resources and I have not purchased gems since I bought builders, so collector farming is the means to an end)
I hunt Dark or collect Trophies as a change up and for more of a challenge.
Typically the Dark tank is buried deep in the core of a base's layout and much more difficult to obtain as a result.
this does require a great deal more strategy, and often stronger troops (and more time usually) but its the challenge that is the draw here. and the delish-Dark! (this tactic also is the same for coring to the deeper storages too; but again collector farming is easier/faster and more efficient most times so that wins out usually)
When my base is close to max for the TH I'm at, Ill start some casual pushing for trophies.
The challenge here is two fold.
Hunting Trophies on offense AND defense. (this changes the dynamics quite a bit)
You have to change your mind set when hunting trophs; Winning matters most, and it is similar to the hunt for dark as the TH is usually the central part of the layout and heavily defended, and thus a greater challenge to obtain!
The Trophy hunt (and defensive aspect for that matter) is far different than the farming mindset. Winning on defense is a much greater challenge and quite a different dynamic and creative outlet for base design as well.
But it takes a lot of time and effort to maintain high trophy count (or a lot gems IMO) so again I am a casual trophy collector as I don't purchase gems, and I do not have tons of time to be online to "keep my place" while my more expensive army builds to raid more heavily guarded trophy layouts.
I parm?
I fush?
