Not complaining just looking for some advice with disco fever.

Hey all. Firstly, if this can't be in general, I apologize and please move it appropriately.

So far I haven't seen a true discussion on trophy pushing post-disco update. Instead of flooding the forum with more nonsense and complaining, I would like to ask advice from people who have braved a trophy push post disco.

A bit of background:
I have started to push in preparation of my clan's trophy push to take advantage of the cheap boosts. I have made it to 2808 which is much better than my previous record of 2656. I'm proud of myself so far. I am a slightly premie th9 with max loonion and max teir one(giants/wiz/Wb/dragon included). Sadly with level one golems, hogs, and witches; my options are limited. I have a level 17bk and 15aq backing up my army.

Discussion:
In my opinion, many players are in a similar boat as me. Bases are getting harder and th9s are a rarity. I would like to know how others are dealing with the disco fever that has taken over clash. So I guess the questions I'm asking are;
1) what is the current landscape like above 2800 base wise, inferno wise, etc.
2) how have you been dealing with the discos
3) are 2-stars a thing of the past for loonion due to discos
4) [expansion on #2] is there a trophy range where people fear golem and max hero attacks enough that a decent number have double single target infernos
5) what is the upper potential for th9

Sorry for the undoubtedly poor post, I am at my internship attempting to not work hard. I hope this thread doesn't get trolled with raging, flaming, and obvious poor advice from th7s. I would like to say thanks in advance for advice and or discussion from people who have done a recent trophy push.

I'd be interested in this too. I'm also trying to push wit loonions and discos are causing problems.

I'm lower on the trophy range, so I'm still able to find other th9s for now, but I don't think it will last too much longer

Don't bother trying to 2 star when are 2 discos,1 is pretty easy though. If the base looks pretty easy to 2 star, except that there are 2 discos, just go for it if you have you heroes, you can always use them to take out the townhall since the disco infernos will barely do anything to them

Speaking as a th 10 with discos you can still loon them as long as the xbows are on ground only, it's when discos and xbow can target them is when you run into a problem, so my advice to you is attck with loons but only bases that have there xbows set accordingly cheers

Hey there! Just sharing my experience here with my last trophy push post inferno updates with balloons + minions getting to champion league. But I'm a TH10 though :)

1. IMO I see more double multiple mode infernos from 2900 to 3100. Probably becoz hoggies are common for that range but beyond that its almost Gowiwi attacks with max heroes 90% of the time.

2. Basically just base designs.. It's all about the AD placement and infernos placement... And also if AQ is awake and some luck on the troops that comes out from the CC (do be careful with lvl 6 wizs and lvl 2 witches). I did try freeze spells but as mine is only lvl 1 and the balloons are really slow so its hard to get to the centre of the base with that short freeze time before they get toasted lol..

3. For some reason, above 3100 i began to see more infernos being set on single modes or maybe 1 x single and 1 x multiple. So i was getting quite a bit of success 2 starring lotsa bases with 2-3 rages and 1 lightning spells.

4. I would say above 3100 where most bases are more towards against Gowiwi so infernos are on single modes and poor AD placement. But it could also be a case where more people realize multiple modes doesn't work at high trophies so began to switch back to single modes as i did my trophy push.

5. Personally.. I would say above 3000 is a damn BIG achievement for TH9.. But maybe u can strive better lol..

Wow thanks for the great advice guys. 3000 is my goal, if somehow i make it to 3100, I may break out the wallet and use some green influence to help me go farther. I have a general question about upper master though. Is there a point where non max th10s or inactives are basically non-existent?
Also, I have been using 24/50 with a cc drag. The dragon accomplishes a similar task to Infinity's suggestion for two starring with heroes. Is there any advantage to taking along another dragon with th9 camps?

Its me again lol.. Yup there are quite a lot of non-max bases up there but with max heroes or AQ. Most that i see are Masters I so doesn't offer a lot of trophies for 1-2 stars though.

I did try to throw in a dragon or 2 against those multiple modes infernos but it doesn't help much. Like what somebody posted, low lvls xbows or set to ground are your best bet. And yes keep those heroes for last few buildings to achieve 50%. Personally i always carry 25 archers to pick lure cc, AQ and those crucial last few %.

Oh and one thing i missed out, i was spells boosting every night since its was during the boost event i did my push so it helps a lot.

Thanks again lol. I consider spell boosting and heroes essential. Nothing feels worse than losing a 49% raid because I was impatient for my heroes or spells.

Im a th10 and started my push on monday, currently at 2810 and used hogs to get here, im not seeing any th9 anymore. Hogs are getting very risky! I been using 32 hogs, 6 wizz, 28 barbs 28 archers and thats simply so i can get a 1 maybe 2 star. From what im seeing miniball and hog raids are too high risk so im going to switch to gowiwi for a bit. On the defense side, my base isnt exactly maxxed and mass drags have struggled to one star me, hogs fail, and balloons fail. Youre welcome to check out my base to see what to avoid lol

Pushing has become crazy difficult, and much more so for any th9
