This time we build two bases. One Th9 and a variant of it with the fernos and other TH10 goodies. Or two entirely different bases.

From my recent experience in near 3k cups, for 24xx-27xx one needs a hogring and adequate bloon protection. Sometime after 2800, golems start pouring in with wizards and witches. So maybe we need 4 bases after all...

And as usual, no fighting or arguing. Everyone are welcome to join and pitch in.

Honestly, I was using your layout at 2500-2600 and it was doing pretty well. Granted, I dropped down shortly after hitting Masters because all of the layouts I used plus the raiding bankrupted me. The TH position is probably the only major weakness I see. It's fairly simple to get to, although, it is solid against hogs/giants. No miniball attacks while I was up there though.

When i get my computer back from repairs, I'm going to post my slew if trophy bases in the hopes that they help us make a new one.

So i was farming dlix up in crystal. I was losing cups AND dlix. Rubbish. So i built an anti-hog base, as a couple of hog attacks destroyed me. And my defense log was transformed. Anyway. Ill show you it and then explain. http://i.imgur.com/qaGDA7B.jpg
So at first glance, ok the troop received thingy is all over the screen, but its the only pic i got.
At first glance, you think, ok now while clearly anti-hog, is it not very susceptible to wbs? Thats when i laugh and shake my head. Because it seems that the WBs will go anywhere but the moat. Why? Because there isn't anything there. So they have to hit the outer pocket, then both side distraction pockets, then the moat, THEN the core. What do you think? The air bombs are there because i had a mini scare with balloonions who nearly if it werent for the tankyness of the cc got my DE. So i covered the core with minion killers:)

I used one of these bases a few months ago during my clan's push and it got stomped by everything but hogs. Granted, my defenses weren't nearly as far along as they are now. That's not to say it's a bad design, though, as I've seen people in Crystal I and Master with similar layouts. Mostly all TH10s with those damn disco infernos, though.

Thing is, though, it DOESNT get stamped by all other attacks. Only ever been 2 starred once, and about 5 one stars. Granted this was only ats crystal 3, but i have very low level defenses as you can see in the picture

I'll give it the benefit of the doubt since there are a lot of people using similar layouts. However, within minutes of changing to that layout I was 3 starred (not by hogs) and I immediately started searching for a different option. I didn't give it much of a chance.

Toby, I must say that's pretty impressive. At first glance it definitely looked easy to breach the core, but obviously your logs prove otherwise.

Wait, this particular layout? Or just another anti-hog base? Please dont generalise that all anti-hog bases are rubbish if you haven't tried my one
