What's your farm style?

I'm just being curious really, or nosey if you wish :p

I've been browsing a lot of farms recently and taking inspiration and ideas but the thing that has struck me most is how cramped and busy some farms seems. I suppose I'm more of a minimalist farmer and being only level 51 I still have space to spare. However, there are some farms that seem SO overcrowded to me that it puts me off looking around. Of course, it's purely down to an individuals taste but I do think there can be a bit *too* much sometimes.

Anyway, what kind of farmer are you? Stick it all in and away you go or a bit more refined? Feed my curiosity if you don't mind :p

I like to have lots on my farm, everything has to have its place, but i try and make it to it doesn't look so crowded :) not sure how well that's worked lol, I still have a little bit of space left...but im sure that's gonna be taken up by the new machines I've yet to unlock :)

My level 43 farm isn't too cramped. I have a lot of trees and bushes, but hardly any decorations. I expanded my land as soon as I could (so I wouldn't have to keep LEM in my barn). I space things out to minimize the chances of accidentally using diamonds. I have three cats, but no other pets at the moment. (Saving my vouchers for the Andalusian horse!)

The only decorations I have are ones I've won. I've just been more interested in expanding my operations than in decorating. That might change in the future. Don't think I'll ever have one of those super-crowded farms, though. I play on a smartphone, and it's just too difficult if the farm is crowded.

Very much like Janilee - not that many decorations and quite spaced out. I have a little forest area near the unexpanded land where I've stashed a few dead trees along with the original ones that I didn't cut down, because I saw that on another farm and liked it. I'm not a huge fan of the decorations so I've mostly only got things like benches, fencing and lanterns. I kind of like the idea of making it look like you'd want a farm to look if visitors were dropping in. :)

I like my farm with some spaces. I like neat and tidy, so I've tried to keep it with less. I don't have all the machines yet either, but at this time there are not that many more left for me to get, so I should be ok with space. I don't like my animals fenced up, so they need some spaces to roam.

Most of the farms I have seen that are really crowded seem to have tons of the fruit trees and bushes filling in every possible space. Pretty when they are all in bloom or loaded with the fruit. But they are a pain to find the trees and bushes that need watering.

Not sure I'm happy with how my farm looks completely but I have not come up with any good ideas. Decorating really is not my thing, my daughter's farm looks way better then mine. She has done some changing to her farm, every time she changes it, it looks even better. I've tried and end up putting everything back.

I like things simple. I have plenty of space as I don't like things crowded. Come take a look see if you wish.

I find that's actually one of the more fun aspects of the game these days - hunting around a farm trying to find the things that need watering before someone else does! It's so exciting when you see the top of a little tree jumping up and down. :D

It's a sad state of affairs when some of the high points of your day are when you whizz over to someone's dock and there's NO HELP CRATE there! Trees! Quick, hunt the trees!!!

I used to move my watering near to the dock to make life easier for people, but now I leave them where they are.

That's funny Velcro, i must be a sad case as well, I completely relate. I always move the trees that need watering to the front so they can be seen easier. I will even turn the sign around. Some farms you really have to search.

I get a kick once a day out of this, then it drives me nuts! I play on an IPhone, so things are small, I have reading glasses that I can't see out of even with them on, lol. I pray a farm only has 1 item to water, cause if they have more, I am roaming that farm for 15 minutes to find any others. I always picture that farmer sitting their laughing at me when I finish. One tree watered, 10 minutes later she finally waters another one. I also pray that someone else comes by to help while I'm still roaming and waters whatever is left, put me out of my misery please.

Up until my grandson begged me to join his Clan on Clash, I never touched my phone, other then when a family member called me while I was out. While playing Clash(not my kind of game), I clicked on the Hay Day ad, now I use my phone all the time. My husband stole the IPad for Clash he loves that game. He even is taking it to work with him, to check on his Clan, he can't see either and won't use his phone. Guess where going to have to get another IPad.

I spend my time squinting and now I'm gonna have wrinkles around my eyes, haha. Downhill ever since I turned 45, just went and got new glasses and they just keep getting thicker.

I like order and regularity, although that may not show on my farm at the moment. It was very regimented for a long while but I got fed up with everything in lines because it looked too grid-like, even for me. I'm trying to make it more natural but have still got to a point where the animals are fairly ordered, smelters evenly spaced, etc. I wish I could be more hap-hazard then I might not find the moooving around so difficult. I've still to decide on the machine and fields placement. A woodland area would be nice but I can't find the space.
