Which base is more anti hog and better overall?
-
Does the first base have xbows? :p
-
wait, what's village edit mode?
-
Lol u don't know. Haha newbie...
place ur xbows where u actually want them for a pic so we can see
-
Neither.
Read OJMs thread on creating an anti hog base. Your bases lack what we call a "buffer layer". They may defend well against hogs, but they are not specially "anti-hog".

Both bases are very easy targets for hogs. Most important of all cc is the best defense building against hogs and you should place it somewhere unlurable.

Try to make the hog-ring smaller. You can remove the two goldmines and 1 or 2 DE-drills to make the ring not as wide as it is. If you make the ring to wide/big, your splashes and AD will have trouble covering the outer ring with defences. The idea of a hog-ring is that when the attacker's troops are walking the ring of defences, your spashes in the core can ♥♥♥♥ them easy. Because your ring is pretty big the cannons and AD will have difficulty reaching the attacking troops.
Goodluck with your new base!
