Have you ever felt tired of being leader?

Well I have a friend who is in lead of his own clan, we were talking today and he tells me that being the leader is so much of a responsibility and is tiring,etc.

Hes like like u have to make sure everyone is happy with donations, try to get people chatting, online, stopping the constant fights and drama, and most importantly constantly recruiting makes clashing harder for him.

Im a leader of my clan as well and dont usually have that feel, even though I do feel the exact same responsibility as he. but I have thought about it one time along time ago (lol thank god thats out of my mind)

He told me the only reason he hasnt left was for the few people he likes in his clan, and being a leader if clan wars ever comes out would be awesome, lol :p

Im just wondering are there any people out there that feel like that to, like they just wanna bail on their clan, I for one at least till now dont feel like that, but how about u.

Just something interesting to spice up general ;)

Yeah I know the feeling when you feel like you are pulling a sled loaded with rocks. It was very freeing to go and hop around for a while. Just chat and donated without caring about the rest.

Yeah, I left my clan(which I had managed) in December, I just wanted to go and see another clan and it was quite boring at times because they weren't all very social, and most of the active ones had left, but I left the clan in the hands of a loyal member :)

The thought of leaving or giving up responsibility has crossed my mind, mostly cause many of my clan mates have been playing for over a year and interest is fading a bit.

Well sure, leading isn't for the faint at heart that's for sure

I have felt that feeling before.

I was leader for a clan called Death Pact for 4-5 months (can't remember exactly how long). We were a very well established clan with lots of good people. Then, well, people became inactive (myself included) because we had all grown a little tired of the game. I also was starting to feel like I wanted to shed myself of all the responsibilities of leader and start fresh somewhere else where I could just be an elder. When my clan got down to around 20 or so people, the most loyal of us in the clan (about 10 people) decided it was time for a change to get us interested in the game again, and find a clan that donated more. SO, we decided to move to my brother's clan (Honor Pact), where we all feel right at home. I'm a co-leader, but it still doesn't have the responsibilities like leader does. So yeah, I've had that feeling before.

Just my thoughts and experiences as a semi-experienced player.

Not when you have a relationship with all 50 people in yer clan. Keeps it quite fun, just a little stressful at times. Then again, the clan is almost 8 months old... So I have no clue how it would have been starting it up.

Whenever I'm bogged down I just go for a visiting run :)

hahaha, but u have like 5 clans with alot of loyal members that help around when needed :p

Depending on what clan you are in will determine the responsibility. Especially if you are in a family of clans. One recommendation I would make is to have a leader rotation. 2 or 3 senior elders that can step in for a few months each so nobody wears out. When everything falls on one person, it can be draining, so have a good system in place.
