One more quickly suggestion

Show trophies for and against and trophy difference in war, just like goal difference in a soccer league table.

What have trophies to do with clanwar? Answere → nothing.

What benefit would we get out of it?

From previous wars? What benefit would we get out of it? There are clans who dont want to fight for win → they fight for fun or training or ressources. The trophy difference then would be nothing meanfull. Or what if there would be a missmatch and the opponent clan would be over/under powered?

I do understand what you are asking for. Currently the CWL standings show only two items:
A) Total number of stars accredited. This is not actual total stars gained from individual battles. Rather, it is that number with 10 stars added to total for each war one.
B) Total actual percent destruction. I say "actual" since that number is not modified by any means (as the Star Total is).

Those two numbers are the only criteria used for final rankings, including "tie breakers". In soccer tournaments on the other hand, "goal differential" typically is one of the tie breakers, hence tracked. So if not used, as others noted, why track?

Now, if they did track star differential, they could not compare defensive stars given up to the current stars gained stat. As I stated above, that number is a modified value, not an actual value.

Rather than star differential, I myself would like them to add a count of actual wins, losses, and ties, and then use that, as opposed to star total, as the primary standings criteria.

Showing star differences in CWL, some players are excellent attackers and get all the plaudits, yet some players concede very few stars over the 7 days, perhaps because they attack poorly get no credit. In my opinion, showing the star difference, can equalize the players who have great defenses yet attack poorly. CWL stars won , seen by the leader can be a deciding factor in who gets the bonuses.
We could also have War MVP. Just throwing that out there.

I see a point of confusion here .... In the original post you stated "goal differential" like in soccer. That is a always team statistic, so I answered accordingly, for the overall team statistics. I believe the others may have responded based upon the same conclusion.

But, now conclude you are referring to the individual player stats as opposed to the team stats.
