Though readings these becomes convoluted because i don't think you can see the exact snapshot of trophy loss or gain based on the battle, especially if it was a revenge.

There is no TH disparity that affects trophies. Your trophy level alone affects how many you win or lose. The swing to really low or really high trophies in a revenge match is due to a player dropping or rising significantly after the original battle...which is why revenges are hideous when you're trophy climbing.
