I agree with what everyone else has said. Snaffle the ideas you like and adapt them to suit yourself. The best part about this 'game' is that we can all design our own farms and have them the way we want them. Unfortunately, in order to fit in all the elements, it is extremely likely that certain areas are in the same places as many others. I suppose, across the world and with the amount of people playing, there may be a very high percentage of people with their animals all in the same area, growing fields all in the same area, production machines... you get my drift. However, it's very unlikely that there will ever be two farms exactly alike, even though we all only have the same array of tools with which to do it.
