SC can you please stop putting the toolboxes behind my house!

I don't know if this happens to anyone else but this happens to me a lot and right now its getting very frustrating. I have a red toolbox behind my house, I know because I can just see a little bit of the white light that comes off of it but do you think I can get it. I've tried for about an hour and no luck. Since I can't move my house it is just going to stay there until one day it gets tired of not being opened and leaves. This has happened to me a couple other times but usually after a couple unsuccessful attempts I can get it. This time, no luck. I've been trying for two days and I'm getting really tired of it because I'm loosing out on some good free items. SC please either make me able to move my house or stop putting the toolboxes behind it.

Tool boxes won't appear on top of other things. Put some bushes or other decorations behind your house, and the toolboxes won't pop up there.

Also, if you just refresh your farm (go to your fishing area and then come back) it should be in a new spawn point.

This happens to me too and drives me crazy! It's so frustrating I had one there a couple of days ago, constantly trying to get it but not quite reaching it. I too kept noticing the light/sparkle which drove me more crazy but I just couldn't get to it and eventually it did disappear. Then it happened again but I got it that time!

Ooooo, A fellow Canadian, hello! Many have suggested on the forum to put something useless like a paving stone or a decoration behind your house and then the mystery box can't fall there. I put a paving stone behind my farmhouse after I read that tip and the boxes never disappear back there!

For your current problem, you've prolly tried everything, my best advice is to try tapping just next to the house close to where the box is, or below the house. Tricky but it can be done. Give yourself a break and try again. For myself, I treat the box on my land same as on other land. If it opens, great. If it doesn't I click outside the notice not on the X, and leave it on my land. I find it helps regenerate the boxes on other farms quicker if I accidentally X or close them.

All you need to do is tap the sparkles when they twinkle up and it will open. I get every one that way. Hope that helps.

I feel your frustration. Yesterday I was tapping around trying to find a box hidden behind some trees (yes, too lazy to move the trees) when I not only found the box, but because I was tapping so fast in my frustration at not being able to pinpoint its location, I hit the "Open for 3 Diamonds" button as well! I guess I should be pleased that it yeilded coins and not a useless stake or mallet, but I did think some choice expletives at the time.

Just tap on the sparkles :)

I used to have problems opening them too but after playing a while, you really figure it out. Just look closely at the sparkles and imagine where the box is actually located, click on it as if the house wasn't there and voila! If that's too hard, you can put bushes or trees behind your house like others suggested. If you don't like that look, you can place a stonepath that will basically be invisible.

I have a tip for you, GladeMaid! If this ever happens again don't do anything! Don't tap anything, just close HD entirely (double-tap home button, swipe up on HD if on ios7, in ios6 hold down HD icon til it wiggles then x it closed). Then reopen HD and when your game loads you'll have your diamonds and not the item that was in the box. Saved me a couple times! :)

Exactly what I was going to say. And after the box is gone from behind your house, go dump a wedding cake topiary and some other unwanted decorations you won from the wheel of fortune behind the house to fill up the space, so that this never happens again!

I shoved some dead bushes behind my house and saved three or four axes! I've often wondered why SC even made those spaces available when they are such a source of frustration?

THANK YOU for the tips everyone! I FINALLY GOT IT, and it had coins in it :)

I will deff be putting some decorations behind there from now on though cause that was just frustrating.
