Berry bush orientation - by jove she's got it.

I finally cracked it! I got my other half to buy me a stylus for Christmas, so now I can see which way the thing is oriented when I drag it to the farm, and if it's wrong I can just let go and try again. Better than trying to peer under my finger or guessing where it's gone and whether it was my aim that was wrong or the orientation. Also a lot better for my blood pressure and the future integrity of my phone and my windows.

(In actual fact he got me a packet of them - all different colours. They're on a little string that plugs into the headphone socket - so cute.)

Great gift!

I ussually zoom in at max before dragging to see the bush part out of my finger.

That is so funny.. Good post. So true as well, although I do tend to drop 'em and spin 'em occasionally. I have the greatest respect for folk who play this game on a mobile phone, because I would not even attempt it.

i'm with John on this; it's hard enough on an iPad mini! I keep a clear space next to my berry field so I can reorientate bushes, if necessary. It hadn't occurred to me to just drop the ones facing the wrong way. That would make life easier. Thanks for the pointer!

I couldn't play hayday on a phone those who do I don't know how you do it! When I first saw hayday in the App Store I was on my Iphone and found it extremely difficult to play on such a small screen so as soon as I got an ipad I started playing on there, I noticed it was much easier on a larger screen but a bigger screen still doesn't avoid the problem of accidentally spending diamonds!

I play on a phone and placing berry bushes is MOST annoying. So I just keep dragging and dropping until they cooperate and place themselves properly. It does help, though, to expand the area on the screen to its largest size. At least I can see the bush under my finger a bit.

I play on iphone... And I didn't find it hard at all! I do have an ipad, but I don't carry it around and I don't know how to play the same farm on 2 devices (can you?), so phone it is!

Yes, you can play the same farm on both devices, as the farm is linked in Game Center, which also saves it for you should your device be damaged or upgraded. I play on my ipad mostly but do farm on my iPhone if out and about and I have a few minutes to indulge:rolleyes:
