I don't get it.
You are Town Hall 9.
Other players are Town Hall 10.
Why would you not expect them to be able to beat you?
As has been rightly stated, not all hog attacks win, only the clever ones.
Imagine if the troops available at TH9 couldn't beat a TH8? You'd be complaining then too I imagine
IMO this is best advice on this tread and what I also do. The giant bombs have saved me more than once. The heal spells can't protect the hogs against instant death. Another bonus with having the defenses in a circle is I normally have someone 40% my base. I get a free shield, a chance to reset my traps AND they never got to the resources.Quote:

You base is so weak what do you expect if you are near masters? I am actually surprised it is hogs beating you that base could be 3 stared by almost any army. A base at your level is going to struggle as soon as you leave gold legues.Quote:

The only people who are succesful are those who use hogs (probaly around 75% of hogs are succsesful) and about bloons (less then half are succsesful ) and here is my attack log for the last week or so. Majority of people were using level six troops five troops but no one got lever 60% or stole more than 30% of my loot, with the exception of the most recent hog attack. @facescraper : from what I recall I attacked just one anti-hogs layout with a BAM combo and reached the core with not much of a fuss, and I'm sure I could do the same with yours if given the chance. :p But, I guess you know better.
@Crazyscorp : Here's my layout. Ignore the fact that one of my X-Bow's is under upgrade and got Burger King in it's place in the middle, but when when had one at level 3 and one at level 2 it made no difference, at least not against hogs + heal spells combo. Will see in a few days if it will make any difference, but i have my doubts.
I see the trick (resources :wink:) you did there and will think about it.
@BoMBeR : Like I've said before, pardon me if I sound like an ignorant ♥♥♥♥♥ but for me things are expensive and I can't always find enough resources to start an upgrade just to be broke and not get attacked. Besides, I'm not worried about the resources I loose, but the fact that I got fed up with this overpowered combo that has no issue with taking down just about any TH 9 layout. Sure, the exception from the rule would be anti-hogs layouts that are designed with the sole purpose to fight them.
If you take your time to see the 4 screenshots I did on my attack log you would have seen I had the two extremes for hogs: 1x uber failure and 2x 100% success.
@PhilISuppose : No, I'm not complaining that I get attacked by TH 10, I'm more looking for a proper solution against that pesky hogs + heal combo cos I can handle the other combos just fine. Like I've said a few posts above a few friends use my layout and one of them told me that he has like 30+ hogs attacks and asked me to help him out, hence the topic I started.
The extra troops space and the spell shouldn't guarantee a 100% success, but give you a slight chance of winning and that's happening right now. I win some and loose some, it's part of the game, but the fact that an overpowered combo is used quite frequently and as TH 9 you have no means to fight it but either a) switch to an anti-hog layout and embrace the results versus other army combos, b) rush to upgrade to TH 10 and get the two Inferno Tower or a more radical approach c) quit the game.
Guess will have to play with giant bombs then and see what happens.
