How do I get rid of all the abandoned Farms on my Friend List?
You can't get rid of followers (at least I'm fairly certain you can't) but you can de-friend through gamecenter.Quote:

Go to that person's farm. Then I believe you just have to go up to the top of the page, next to the name of whomever's farm that you would like to unfriend and click on the yellow circle/smile. Same thing if you want to unfollow them. Just click on the yellow ribbon under the circle/smile, next to their farm name.Quote:

Doesn't work, that's the first thing I tried. That takes you to a web page for Facebook. When you click the ribbon it just says they are already your friend. It should be when you click the ribbon after they have been added that it will take them off if you click it again.Quote:

you really cant get rid of followers? I like to sell my items at a good price so my GC friends can buy. But most of the time I have followers buy the items first and then post them on their farm full price its frustrating! should I just only post basic goods at maximum price to get rid of the moochers?
I have the same problem and it really bugs me unfortunately if its somebody following you there's not much you can do. But if you have contact with somebody you want to put an item down for text them first and have them buy a single wheat so when they buy it you know it's them and you can safely put down the product they want I hope that sounded right cause I just confused myself :p
The problem with that is when you first 'touch' the ribbon and it says you can't add them to your friend bar because it is full! So, you are stuck with the followers you don't want and still stuck with the 'friends' that have abandoned their game and you can't get rid of either! We need a way to get rid of the dead weight! you can add loads of friends in your gamecenter app
If you want to unfollow someone, just go to their farm and tap the follow icon at the top of the screen above the smiley face. To add slot of nbrs, request friends through game centre.Quote:

People need to distinguish between farms you follow (blue frame) and GC/facebook friends (yellow frame). You can only follow (blue frame) 5 farms, this is independant of the number of GC/facebook friends (yellow frame) that you have. You can only unfollow farms you have followed (blue frame), to remove the other farms (yellow frame) you need to remove them as friends in GC or disconnect from facebook. Curiously, removing GC friends takes several days for them to actually disappear in your friend bar for whatever reason.
I want to delete a friend but there is no follow button above the smiley face. How do I remove this friend/farm from my list ?
If a follower is following you, those you can't remove, unless they unfollow you. If you are following someone, then go to your friends list, and the one that has a blue boarder is the one that you are following, tap on that and on top of their name where it shows the bookmark, tap on that to unfollow.
If you want to remove friends from your GameCenter then all you need to do is open GameCenter, go to Friends and swipe left to delete or you can tap on that friend and scroll all the way to the bottom and "Unfriend".
That farm may be someone you added on game centre. You didn't ' follow' them. If their icon on your friends list is framed in gold, then it's a game center or FB friend. If it's framed in blue then it's someone you've followed. As previously mentioned, the only way to remove a game center friend is to unfriend them on game center.
I have looked at other posts on the forum without success, I have friends that do not play very often that I wish to delete, however there is no flag on their farm to use and they are not in my Game Center friend list?
Please help, it's rather frustrating....
They could be your follower and not your friends.
If they are not GC friends, or followers of your farm, they are likely Facebook friends & you would need to unfriend them.Quote:

If they are game cent friends you need to go into gc and search through your friends list. You can delete them there. If they are a Facebook friend you need to unfriend them on fb.
If they have a blue frame around them, not a Gold one, then they are not friends, but people you have followed. Go back to their farm and at the top there will be two gold circles. Tap the top one to unfollow or follow farms.
The friends I want to get rid of are not on my friends' list in GC. Is that because I log into the game through Facebook? I noticed that I had seven followers this morning, and now I have only six. How do I add Hay Day friends in GC?:confused:

What happens with people who have followed you and are no longer playing the game? Is there any way to get rid of them, because they are just a nuisance cluttering up your followers list.

I just deleted someone from my followers list.
Went to their farm, tapped the little ribon thingy,
Was informed this farm would now be on my friends list!
I didn't want that, so tapped the little ribbon looking thing again ,
forget the exact words, but left it...shut down the device, in my case iPad.
When I opened it later...all gone...along with the Christmas decorations and starving animals .
what I would like to know...their pigs were standing on end..lined up in straight line...one pig was in front..like a D I..

Dang, I clicked all kinds of thing including the ribbon to follow them and unfriendl them several times over the last few days. Whatever I did worked. They are no longer on my follower list under the follower tab. Now to see if I have any folks that have "liked" my farm and have access to my farm to buy. Maybe they are gone too. Hope so.
I have successfully deleted some friends through Facebook but I had to delete them off my Facebook account which I really didn't want to do. Anyway I have deleted other followers who I guess for game Center they don't show up on my game center account as friends but I have deleted these people they're not on my bar as friends or followers but they still show up to purchase my items. One person is a high-level 62 now I price my items for sale for my followers and friends who are levels 32 and under a very low price and he shows up and purchases everything ; where is he coming from, he's deleted off my side. I hope this is a bug and it gets resolved. I think my deleted followers should be deleted from my game.
All you have to do is to make sure that you only follow 4 out of the 5 you can follow yourself.
Then go to the follower that you want to get rid off, press the yellow tag, it should say: Farm followed and added to your friends list/bar.
It may take a while, and you have to logg off your game, but eventually that follower will show up at your friends list. All you have to do now is to go to that farm again and press the yellow tag again!!!
Follower gone!! Done that with several unwanted followers, and it works!!!

An easy way to do this is, open Game Center > Games > Hay Day. On top there should be achievements tab and a Player's tab. Tap on Player and you will see all your game center that is playing Hay Day. It also shows when the last time they played Hay Day. It goes in order from recently to when they last played. So if you find someone that played Jan. 15th. then most likely that friend abandoned his/her farm and isn't playing anymore.Quote:

In the roadshop, you gain more boxes to put items on sale when you 'unlock' them adding frens
But....if I remove a certain amount of frens, does the added boxes disappear?

If you are logged into GC then you can remove them from GC. If you used your Facebook, then you have to remove that friend from facebook.

I have some trouble removing friends in the game. Specialy those with a yellow border.
