How dare you leave a cliff hanger=\ very nice mate.
I had to move Chapter 4 here, because I run out of characters on the first post :-)
CHAPTER 4:
A pillar of dust and smoke settled around them as the rumblings stopped. Bob opened his eyes wearily, wiping mineral dust off his face. The air was thick as porridge, and he couldn't see a thing.
"Farriah!!!" someone shouted from the direction of the entrance. "Farriah, can you hear me? Are you okay?"
There was no response, and so Bob heard small rocks being tumbled aside, and, as the vision got slowly clearer, he could see Braven digging feverishly through the enormous pile of rocks now blocking the entrance. But something was wrong. He was only digging with one hand.
"Guys, help me out, I think Farriah is trapped beneath the rubble. I need an extra pair of hands over here."
No kidding! He just lost one! Bob could see his left arm dripping with the red stuff, and felt dizzy. He pressured his temple between middle finger and thumb, trying to make the headache go away. It didn't.
Braven didn't seem to mind though, as he was digging twice the speed of his companions, even with one arm. And as a bigger rock was thrown from the scaffolding they had built, a lock of pink hair became visible among the rubble.
They hauled her out, and placed her on a flat surface. Bob found himself in a situation where he didn't actually want her to be dead, and he didn't know if it was because Braven had been so compassionate in his search for her, or if he felt some guilt for what happened. After all, he was the one who said it was safe.
"Hey, Farriah, answer me!" Braven cried out. The rest of the hooligans gathered around her as if watching an old queen on her deathbed. "Hey, you gotta wake up, hey, Farriah!"
"NOOOOO!" He cried, and beat his good arm on her chest. A small cloud of sand and smoke shot out of Farriahs mouth with an "Ouuuff!", and she started to cough like crazy. Braven looked at her in disbelief.
"Farriah, you're alive!" he proclaimed, and the hooligans started laughing and crying at the same time. Such emotional situations were the last ones he thought he would find himself in with the hooligans, but even he felt a sting of relief.
Farriah, who had opened her eyes, bent upwards in Bravens arms and kissed him, intensely. The rest of the crew looked downwards, into the middle of the dungeon, where the egg-shaped rock was.
Bob realized they completely ignored the fact he was there, or had brought them into the collapsing dungeon. Maybe they were just happy he had led them to the one thing they had been searching for the last two years. Though he didn't fully understand why a gem, even if ever so shiny, was more worth than the gold they had already thrown away on the outside.
"Braven, your arm!" Farriah cried, and ripped off a piece of her clothing to comply pressure to the wound. She obviously had learned the Judges' medical field training. That was good at least.
"Guys, I need to clean this fast, or Braven will catch an infection. Quick, get me some water and the medical kit from the bag."
"Bob was carrying the bag."
They all looked at Bob. The bag was nowhere to be seen.
"It must have fallen under the pile of rubble when it collapsed!" he blurted out, but the response was not in favour.
"Where? Dig it out, now!"
"Must have been somewhere right behind me."
Bob started scraping the closest rubble. One of the hooligans came over and pushed Bob aside. Then he hurled rocks away the exact way that Braven did earlier, so passionately. Bob felt useless with his limited strength and rather "chubby" figure. He had always called it "good and healthy", but meeting the hooligans, not to mention real danger, had opened his eyes. Flowerhead was right, he was fat.
"Found it! Here you go Farriah."
"Thanks Ted. Now, I need some kind of stick or something, something hard he can bite on."
"What about this one?" he said and picked up Toothpick.
"The handle is perfect. Break off the rest."
"NO!" Bob shouted. "That's my sword, you can't break it!"
The hooligans turned to face him, sending spiteful looks at him. Farriah, who struggled to keep Braven awake, didn't even pay attention to his shouting. She was fully focused on fixing Braven.
"Don't get too high and mighty now. This "sword", does it even have a name?"
"Toothpick!" It's called Toothpick."
They laughed their ears off. Then Ted took the sword to his knee and broke the blade right off the handle, and handed Farriah the latter. They didn't seem a least bit worried about their leader now, obviously Farriah had their full and utter trust as a medic.
"Here," he said. "You can still use it for what it was intended for." The whole gang burst into laughter, and Ted threw the blade part of Toothpick in front of Bob.
Bob felt a sleeping rage rise to the surface. His whole face became red with fury. But just as he was about to teach them a lesson in badmouthing, the entire cave started to shake again. More stalagmites fell down from the ceiling, and Toothpick rattled terribly on the ground. The hooligans drew their swords, and turned to face the other side of the dungeon.
Why didn't he notice before? In the wall on the other side of the gigantic campfire site, was an enormous hole, maybe it had been too big, and that corner so dark, he didn't notice it. Wait, since they didn't meet the giants on their way in, they must have been hiding...there!
…
Out of the hole, came three gigantic monstrosities, taller now then when they were all camping around the fire. They each held a club in their hands, and Bob knew right away what they would use those for...
"Crush. Smash. Eat their swords."
"Mush. Mash. Spill their gores."
"Lift. Slash. Piece by piece you go."
The chanting of the giants was terribly intimidating as they approached. Bob picked up the rattling blade of Toothpick, and slid into a dark corner, hoping they would keep their promise not to hurt him. But what was he thinking? Had he not just witnessed both love and camaraderie first-hand coming from the hooligans? Did they really, despite everything, deserve to die?
Then he remembered the village on fire, and took a decision. Only the giants would be able to unlock the pathway out of here. It was them, or nothing. It was them, or death. He couldn't remember the last time he ate something apart from the goo the hooligans called "meat stew porridge". What a ridiculous name for a meal to have!
*BOOOOOOOOM*
The club smashed hard into the ground where the hooligans was just a moment ago. He couldn't see them, not Farriah or Braven either. Maybe it was over already.
But the next club made him think they somehow survived beyond the humongous first club, as it smashed the ground with another ear-pounding sound.
Suddenly, one of the giants, he couldn't tell the difference now, let out a roar, but not in anger, rather in agony. His gigantic form fell to the ground with a shattering pound, and Bob wondered exactly where the hooligans' strength seized.
A short blink in the air, a shadow in the wind, and another of the giants fell to the ground. Bob could see it, but he still didn't believe it. The giant's head had parted from it's shoulders completely, with a single clean cut.
*ARRRRRRRRRRRRGHHHHH!!!!*
"YOU PUNY HUMAN, HOW DARE YOU KILL BO AND ABODOM, YOU SQUIRT. I'LL TEAR EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOUR LITTLE LIMBS OFF BEFORE COOKING YOU IN A STEW!"
"Bring it, monster! I already lost one today!"
Braven stood fast on top of Bo the giant. His sword was soaked in thick giant blood, and he carried a clever smile on his face. Bob had to blink several times to fully grasp what was going on. Braven didn't look like himself. His black ponytail had been released, and the fury of his hair rained down on his back like charcoal flames. His torn up clothing just added more tension to his awesome figure. He looked like a wild beast, with his mustache being grown into a full beard, and his muscles flexing to the max on his bare chest. Surely this sorcery couldn't be Judge material.
Urb came closer to Braven, but threw away his club on the ground, so for a second, all Bob could see was Urb's stretched out arms, fumbling for something behind the club. A second later, both his arms were missing, and with them, every chance Bob saw of the giants winning.
Urb fell to his knees, writhing in a pain so intense it looked like his skull was about to explode.
"COME ON THEN! FINISH IT!"
"First, you're going to tell me how to get out of here."
"Ahahahah...Never! Rot in here for all I care, human."
"Then, goodbye. We'll be taking the jewel back with us."
And with a final strike, right through the giant's chest, the great Urb of the dungeon fell to the ground, unmistakably dead.

Uh oh! What happened to Braven? Was he this strong all along, or was just an adrenaline hype from losing a hand? How will they get out of there now? Keep posting and I'll keep writing. Until then, beware of people with one hand. They might be stronger than you think!

Chapter 5:
The most intense moment in Bob's life. Never had he witnessed such strength eminating from one barbarian soldier. He pondered, was he even human?! He couldn't tell.
Braven jumped down from the giant that had just a few hours back tried to roast Bob over a humongous fire. He stumbled over to his comrades, cuts and bruises all over his body, and he seemed to have recovered his normal shape. As he approached Farriah, he tumbled over, and she caught him and immediately put him down in her lap. She was sobbing with her teeth knitted, her pink hair terribly torn up and covering her weeping eyes.
"You didn't have to do that..." she cried, and started beating softly on his back.
The rest of the hooligans circled around them with worried looks on their face. One of them stepped forward.
"If Bob didn't tell us it was safe, Braven wouldn't have to...have to..."
Everyone cast spiteful looks in Bob's direction, but none of them moved an inch. They had to stay by Braven's side. Bob crawled backwards against the rocks that blocked the entrance, terrified by the hatred searing through their eyes.
"Enough lads...Do not hate him...The time has come for me to pass..."
"Don't you even dare say that, after I fixed you up!" Farriah shouted, and threw him around on his back, so she could see his wounds. She gasped.
A giant hole had dug its way through his chest, and black ooze seemed to be mixed in with the blood streaming out way too fast. It was a miracle he didn't succumb right away.
"Look...the damage is done. That was the only thing keeping me alive...And now it's leaving the system."
He pushed Farriah gently away, and got up on his feet.
"No, Braven, lie down, it'll just quicken the process!"
"It's okay Farriah, I know I'm going to die. But not before I tell you all something very important."
Everyone gathered around the black-haired warrior.
"Centuries ago, there was an experiment...It changed everything. The experiment was processed by a very powerful clan to the east, whose walls were made of the most solid crystal in the world. They had found a new elixir type in a ley line underneath their village, colored black as the night sky itself. Never before had anyone bore witness to this new type of elixir, but it didn't take long for them to realize that their collectors broke apart upon contact with it, so they tried to extract it using magic, with catastrophic consequences. The liquid poured out of the hole, burying the entire village and melted the walls in seconds.
Shortly after, a nearby village came to look for survivors. However, what they found was beyond terrible. A wasteland, covered in death and smoke. And in the smoke, shadowy figures of awesome stature appeared. Great monsters of stone and evil riding on hungry monsters came strolling out and wiped out most of the villages' army. At the brink of extinction though, a brave soldier managed to slay some of the beasts. Using the window of opportunity, he quickly filled a square-formed bottle with the black liquid oozing out of the beast's mouth. He then deserted his village, founding his own, and in fact he became the founder and author of the old law used by the Judges today.
Then, fifty years ago, the black liquid was suddenly banned and locked away. There was no explanation, and a lot of scientists that had worked on it suddenly died unexplainably. There was rumors that what the scientists had discovered was too dark, too dangerous, and so in order to stop the abuse of the liquid, they had been disposed of by the chief of the village. A lot of people grew tired of the chiefs constant refusals to answer any question about it, so one night, they broke into the labaratory, killed all the guards and stole the dark elixir.
The next day, the village was in a complete uproar. Some wanted the criminals to be executed for high treason, but they didn't dare take action, because they feared an equal group that supported the continued experimentation of the dark elixir. After a showdown of words and bloody skirmishes inside the village, the chief appeared with wizards from the Ivory tower, and drove out the rebels. And those rebels came to be known as Revolutionists..."
Everyone was silent. Even Farriah had stopped crying, and the hooligans looked puzzled at Braven.
Suddenly, he fell to his knees, and Farriah jumped down and held her arms around him tightly.
"Now...Here's the important bit. And Bob, you need to hear this too."
Bob got a bit closer, but he still feared for what they might do to him if Braven died.
"The package...That you Bob was delivering to the village...Do you know what it contained?"
"Nooo...I was told it was a peaceoffering gift, that it would help build alliances with our neighbours."
"It was dark elixir Bob. Now tell me, your Garganto clan is Judge right?"
"Yeahh...So?"
"After the revolutionists were banished, the chief destroyed every single bit of the dark elixir remaining amongst the Judges. Which means...That somehow your villlage obtained dark elixir, the forbidden liquid, and is now even trading it away."
Bob looked puzzled. He wasn't exactly sure how to respond to this, especially since he was talking to a dying man. He had no reason to lie.
"So...what exactly are you saying?"
"Bob, your village can't be trusted. Don't go back. Now, get out of here...save..."
Braven closed his eyes, followed by the silent hulking of a pink haired girl. This time, even Bob cried. A little.

The leader of the hooligans is dead! What will happen next with Bob and the others? Will they find a way to escape? What exactly is the deal with Bob's village? Keep posting, and I'll keep writing. Until next time, don't trust people who sell black liquid! DEAD MAN'S REQUEST, YOU HEAR?
