This game is dead at TH lvl 9 farming

I don't know, i have a TH9 and I'm farming 300k gold and 300k elix per attack using 80 lvl 6 barbs 125 lvl 6 archers and 15 lvl 5 wbs with 3 lvl 5 lightnings and a single lvl 5 rage, I don't always use spells because of cook times and I don't always use king/queen lvls 5/1 respectively due to sleepy times and I'm doing just fine on the farm market

It's a real expense to farm at TH9, I might spend > 50k gold just to find a decent raid, and it costs 30k elixir to produce the troops to raid (excluding spells). Many of my clan members are raiding 24/7 just to save up enough for their upgrades, it's too much work at TH9. FYI, I really enjoyed the game at TH8, raiding was much more enjoyable and affordable.

I don't how your clan mates can be raiding 24/7 to save up and tell you the xbow is worth it.
Seriously they are giving you the wrong advice.
Nobody says life at the top is easy. You know yourself that you upgraded too fast.

1 person advised that, it was back in December. Yes, he's also premature TH9, worse village than mine.
The people in my clan now are level 7x, 4-5 workers, upgrading to level 6 troops, archer queen etc. They are constantly raiding to save for these upgrades, and don't go offline in fear of being raided. I often spend 8hrs online at a time saving up for upgrades, it's becoming too much.

But im finding atleast enough loot for me to still do stuff. Either your too high on trophies. Or too low.

Agreed 300k/300k would take too much searching and you'd spend 300k gold just trying to find those bases. However it is possible to get 200k/200k every battle. I'm TH9 and max my storages constantly. I farm in the 1500-1600 range.

I have no plan to go on playing after my village's unit max in TH8
