Gold pass loot in clan castle

How about using the clan castle for gold pass rewards?
Being maxed out for months, the loot reward from the gold pass is waisted every time. I understand I cannot spend it but I do mind I cannot do _anything_ without waisting loot!
Attacking is pointless cause it will drain your loot even faster. Training troops for donations is likely to be waisted as well. If someone else give those troops, you have to remove them but due to full storages, no refund is possible.
And even worse, with the update on the horizon, I try to keep as much loot as possible. The best way to do that is... by doing _as less possible_ in the game(!) Just staying in legend with a few attacks will be the best way to accomplish that goal.
Because it is counterproductive to attack, to train troops for donations.. what remains? Nothing. So I am better of NOT playing. That's kinda weird, right?
Thats why I think the clan castle is a better place for your gold pass reward.
And being honest, I'd prefer 25 gems instead of a useless 50 million loot.

The clan Castle is NOT a better place for it because 3% of the loot in your clan castle can be stolen from every raid without any cap. If 25 million gold/elixir and 250,000 DE goes in your clan castle then someone could steal 750,000 gold/elixir and 7500 DE from your clan castle alone, on top of whatever else they steal from your storages and collectors. If it's all in your storages then they can steal up to 450,000 gold/elixir and 3500 DE if you're a TH11 or TH12 because there are loot caps on the storages. The clan castle does not have any loot caps, so you will lose way more loot if it's in the clan castle. Simple math.

It would be nice to have some way of managing the loot, without loosing it, or making attacks useless until it is gone.

However, if you save up books from Clan Games, and from the season pass itself, and have a couple workers available, you can, for the most part, use everything up, even if its just on walls. Just takes a week plus of planning for the eventual oversupply of loot.

Best way to manage loot is to manage builders. Keep builders free and you should not have problem.

It takes quite a skill to manage builders.

Well, haven't looked up the details cause I cannot, being in legend for 2 seasons. You're not losing any loot by defenses in legend.
In Titan and lower, AFAIK, there is a max ppl can take from your storages and it is based on a max filled storage, not an overfilled one.
Of course I expect the same behavior if they could move the seasonbank to the clan castle. The loot they can steal is 3% from a max filled clan castle.
I can't recall but isn't the clan castle a better place because it is lower percentage as a storage?

Like I said in my first post, the clan castle is uncapped. At TH11 and TH12 the most that can stolen from your storages is 10% or 450,000, whichever is smaller. And for the DE storage it's 4% or 3500, whichever is smaller. So you're guaranteed to never lose more than 450,000 gold/elixir or 3500 DE from your storages. But the clan castle is always 3% without limit. So your loot is safer in your storages if you have 4,500,000 or more gold/elixir in your storages, and 87,500 or more DE in your storage.

Edit: I created a spreadsheet to determine how much loot could be lost over the course of the entire month if the loot was in the treasury (assuming of course that you never collect the treasury for the whole month) and it came out to be 14,974,823 gold/elixir and 149,748 DE. If it was in your storages (also assuming you don't use any loot over the whole month) then you could lose 13,500,000 gold/elixir and 105,000 DE. So you can clearly see which way is safer.

We are taking about storages right, not collectors? Just to be sure because I can't follow your numbers 😬.
Th12, completely full storage. Counting with your %, 10% means 1.2milion gold/elixer from a 3 star loss, excluded the clan castle. My castle contains 4.65million. 3% of that is about 140k. So the max stolen from you is 1.34 million gold and elixer.
Move everything I have from goldpass to clancastle without having a limit as currently exist on the storages would indeed result in a max bigger loot. 1,2 million only from the clan castle... (Mine would contain 40 million right now). But why wouldn't their be a limit on the castle just as on the storages? Supercell hasn't overfilled the clan castle so it is unknown. And if they would add the same limit to the clan castle, it would be a great idea, cause you will loose less loot from a raid (although, full storages still give the 1.34 million), but you can however have a goal and attack with some purpose instead of just waist loot every time you play or trained troop for donations someone else gave before you, and you can even fill you season bank easier because of this.
I pay for the gold pass. I got huge loot. Just to flush it into the suer for months and not being able to collect the loot rewards. Imho the game needs redesign on this matter and, in my simple view I have, this seems a logic suggestion to improve and encourage gameplay instead of discourage it like it does now.
Just bought a shield for a week so I can make it to the next week without being raided or need to waist resources on attacks. Don't know if it's a good deal. Only if the update is there next week. Otherwise. back to legend and attack as less as possible to stay there...

You missed the part about the loot caps on the storages. You can lose 10% of what's in your storages OR 450,000, whichever is less. So if you have 12,000,000 gold/elixir then you'd only lose 450,000 because it's less than 10% of what's in your storages. If your storages are at 4,000,000 then you lose 400,000 because that's 10% of what's in your storages and it's less than 450,000.

You're right I missed it. 😔 Guess I did forget to include the collectors as well on a raid I'd remember some time ago. I guess he or she was very happy 😁
