Why am I basically being punished for paying?

Hello. I have played this game for nearly 5 years and have probably spent over $3500 since I started. I understand supercell doesn’t want us to stack magic items unless we pay for them from packs. And I think that’s fair. What I’m not happy about is, because I bought a significant amount of packs and have double digit numbers of magic items and potions while saving up for the update, and a full treasury that I cannot empty, I can’t claim ANY of the clan game rewards. Making clan games utterly useless for me.

Why can’t we convert the rewards to gems directly like In season challenges and special events? I’m losing out on around 500 gems from clan games because of this. And I do not want to sell 17 builder potions or 5 book of spells as I need them for the update. We should be able to convert clan game rewards directly to gems.

Wouldnt it be smarter to buy the magic items when updates arive? Usualy we get special offers with them.

The clan games rewards are free. You're complaining that you can't have the free stuff because of a situation you created...

Still a valid concern though.....easy fix would be to have SC add a 4th line that are all gems rewards.

Season challenge silver rewards are free too as well as special events. We can convert them to gems there, so why not here?

$3500 on this game? You serious? Ive been here since virtually the start and spent a grand total of about £10, and that was just to help get a builder hut as a noob..

Try not stressing and spend less? Alternatively, feel free to pay but not complain?

You can still get 150 gems from the current clan games. For the remaining tiers, just empty your treasury and collect the resources from rewards. You can get 100% gold & elixir back from the clan games. Getting free 150 gems isn't a bad deal in my opinion.

Unlike other posters, I think you make a pretty good point. TBH, I'd also like to see the free trader deals also be able to be sold for gems. I don't have excess potions or magic items, so I can just sell off a training potion before collecting the freebie from the trader, but it seems like an unnecessary step to do so.
