I notice that the leaders of most clans on the forums are strong th9/10s. I just started my th9 upgrade yesterday, but I dont want to look embarrassingly weak if I make a clan. Any solutions?

It depends who you want in your clan - if you want lots of high level players then you need some to start with but there are 10 million + people who play every day most of whom are nice decent people who don't have high level bases.
Trust me be nice and they will tell their friends and come.
Making a clan from scratch is quite hard. It requires you being online for, well, really all the time. I'd recommend that you take a friend along the journey with you. And what Daddy said is also 100% true but sometimes being nice just doesn't cut it. Goodluck 😜
