Another voice

Hey guys, just wanted to bring to supercell's attention some popular ideas I have seen recently.

1. Train. For importing goods? We could also export surplus.

2. Diamond confirmation button. So annoying to lose 20 diamonds on a bush!!!

3. Trade!! Everyone has different ideas on how it would work, but we need to have trade in Hay Day.

4. Traveling salesman. Sells you rare things for a lot more money maybe?

5. More egg uses for younger players. This will help stop the overflow of eggs in the DD.

If you guys have seen any other popular ideas, feel free to add them in the comments below!:D

Yes. Also an idea is we should be able to help Greg's boat, and also we should be given an ID's and your friend can type that in and they will be your friend.

Good ideas! Hopefully we can get supercell to notice this if not than at least the posts with these original ideas.

How about this for egg use...
use egg and bread and chicken / (or I'd love to see eggplant!)... To make a breaded chicken parm patty...

but wait...now either sell or use the patty...but higher level players can now use the patty with bread and tomato and cheese to make a chicken parm (or eggplant) parm sub in the sandwich shop. This helps the lower and the higher level players at the same time...hmmm. Yes still plugging my eggplant parm (I do love that stuff) 

Sorry to ask, but .. what's an "eggplant parm" ? :confused:

Nice ideas! We need eggplant and onions... so many recipies can be born out of onions and eggplants!

Too easy to accidentally spend diamonds!!!

Has this happened to any of you? You buy a tree, plant something, plant a bush and you ACCIDENTALLY HIT THE DIAMOND BUTTON! GRRRRR I just spent a whopping FOUR diamonds on a blackberry bush!

This is from November of 2012! If you don't believe me, go to page 194 of future requests, look up Too easy to accidently spend diamonds. Amazing how long this issue has been going on for huh?

Yep, pm a long, long time, that's why it's always good for new members to the forum to check with a search before posting ideas, because most of them have already been suggested multiple times, eg diamond confirmation button and beehives. There are already farmers testing the diamond confirmation button while the rest of us wait patiently. Please also note that Hay Day's overarching philosophy is "do no harm", so please, no suggestions for food items that involve killing our beloved animals. Eggplant parmigiana, ok. Chicken parmigiana is not going to gather support.

Don't exactly get what u are saying... I know these are not my ideas and was just trying to bring them to supercell's attention.

Then add to an existing thread, don't start a new one for an old idea.

more than one idea... and I wanted to create my own thread just to bring this to supercell's attention. If i contributed to an exsisting thread, I would not be noticed. The whole point of this thread is to take popular ideas, not call them mine, and hopefully supercell will notice. that is why I created this thread.

How about the airplane with five cargos of differents like the boat does too?

i would love to see in the city when the truck orders delivers to the shops, school & etc.

i would like to see more lands to make more space.

I do understand where you are coming from, but think of the number of threads that already exist that SC have already read. SC read and discuss new ideas weekly. Using an existing thread still brings it to their attention, but you have the added weight of those who have previously supported the idea behind you to remind SC just how many people do support a specific idea.

Hmmm, where would you suggest we fit the landing strip and cargo hangar and control tower on our already crowded farms? Mind you, a pilot would be a welcome addition to the eligible men available to attend Lady Jem's Valentine's Day soirée.:rolleyes:

One of the other more popular requests is the one for more land. If we have more land we can fit the runway. Our farms are getting to crowded. What is a valentines soiree?

i think the airplane will be at the top of the cliff above the mine maybe but you never know where they puts in the land to make more space.

I see you've discovered the answer to your question. So, are you RSVPing? We could do with some more gallant, gentlemanly attendees.

I would like to see a feature that would enable you to select more than one object at once. I enjoy rearranging and moving things on my farm to find the best arrangements as I level up and obtain more land, machines, fields, and animals. Not having the option to move more than one thing at once turns me away from rearranging because it takes too much time to select one object after another instead of selecting more than one at a time. I (and possibly many other people) would enjoy seeing a multi-select function from SC in a future update.

I would love to see that feature also. It is possible and SC has done it before in Clash of Clans. Hopefully they will also impliment this idea in HayDay. Glademaid, I don't know if I will RSVP or not. Maybe next year? That isn't a complete no.

Good that you haven't ruled it out completely. If you have some free time, Handyman could do with some help constructing the Lover's Lane for Lady Jem for this year's event, even if you don't want to attend on the night. :D

I'm not a vegetarian so I'm not sure what ingredients would go into a veggie burger besides soybeans but I think it would be a welcome new item to make. What else would you add? Onions if we had them...

Yes that would be so great I would love this!!! Maybe they could include a game center search bar within the game so we could just type the gamecenter I.d and it finds that person then we can choose to add as a neighbour/friend or follow.

That's kind of a hypocritical statement. Do we not have bacon, eggs and fish in the game? Why could we not get beef or chicken from the animal without killing it like we do the bacon? And fish and lobsters are ok to kill but not chickens? We should at least get beef from the cows.

Anywho...

My suggestions for lower level egg use. Boiled eggs and fried eggs. And you could use the boiled eggs to make deviled eggs. And the fried eggs to make fried egg sandwiches.

The boat has a dock and a number of farms, like my own, have paths from the barn to the dock. How would I construct a path to the plane, or do we have to believe in levitation for this?

We could put the items in the row boat, row to the other side of the river and voila! There's a landing strip and a plane waiting for us. :-D

If you notice, the fish and lobsters are not killed, but miraculously divest themselves of fillets and tails, then re-enter the water to be caught another day. Nothing is killed or dies on Hay Day, that's why it's so popular.

Technically speaking, you don't get beef from cows. Beef comes from castrated bulls, termed "beasts". BTW veal comes from young male calves. Cows, being female, are too valuable to use for meat.

Further, we already have grilled egg sandwiches available through the sandwich truck.

We should still be able to get beef, though.

The game is popular because it is a fun waste of time.
Why so technical? No reason we can't have beef in the game regardless of where it comes from. We feed bacon to our pets. Are you not concerned what grease does to a dog in reality?


Anywho, I would like to see banana tree, pineapple, peaches, almonds, pecans, walnuts, blueberries, onions, green pepper, herbs, etc. I apologize if those things are already in the game. I'm low level right now.

I wondered what the dogs ate. I don't have any because I am not a dog person. None of the above are already in the game, but I do ask how we would fit them all onto our farms, unless we are given more land first. Personally, instead of more food items, I would like another jewellery item - more use made of the mine; it's currently quite neglected by SC.

Love your enthusiasm. :) But, as stated, it isn't necessary (and in fact can be detrimental) to start new threads (or polls) when a thread already exists and is still active.

SC reviews ALL ideas. Just because Staff doesn't post to each idea or it doesn't show up in the next update, doesn't mean they aren't aware of it. It's not necessary to make a poll or new thread to bring selected ideas to their attention because their attention is already very focused on what the community wants to see in the game. However, be aware that there are numerous reasons why an idea may not be implemented just yet or why it may not work at all.

Just look how many community ideas were introduced in just the last 3 updates. Those were a long time coming but they got here. :)

Keep the ideas coming but look for an existing thread on an idea before posting a new thread on it. Keep the ideas that you like alive by adding your comment there. If the thread is very old, then you may want to make a new one and link to the old one.

I am sorry Cricks I was just trying to get to sc's attention some popular, well supported ideas. If i simply added my comment, how would sc see it?

Another idea Is that there should be an EDIT FARM button. (Where we can move machinery to storage)- to make it easier to customise/change things around.
It's really hard to edit your farm when your in the higher levels and have loads of machineray.

Yes and I'm sure it will go on a lot longer.

SC could have a confirmation button before spending diamonds if they wanted, but I wouldn't count on it. And, yes I know they have had it being tested by a few for forever and a day. Dangle, dangle, dangle...catch it if you can.

Look at all they would lose if that elusive button were implemented.

How about scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, egg on toast and (maybe) omelette ? All could be produced by the bakery so newbies would have something else to do with their eggs.
