Advanced troops builder interface (NOT auto-queue)
Despite Dahimi's excellently written post, I have to admit that I barely searched for this idea since it's quite hard to search for. I couldn't find any similar topic when searching this subforum for 'barracks'. At the same time, because it's such a great idea, I cannot imagine it hasn't been posted before.
This idea comes straight from the competitors game, but is such a delight to use that I wanted to focus some attention on it. Since they stole so much from CoC, I'm sure it ok to steal something in return. Never let a good idea go to waste.
Anyway. The advanced troop builder option allows players to build troops from the army camps, which in turn will automatically distribute them over the barracks in the most time efficient way.
To put that into steps:
1) Tap a random army camp
2) Tap 'build troops'
3) A screen appears similar to selecting a single barrack, showing pictures of all available units.
4) Player can tap the units to build. On the picture of the unit it will be indicated how many have been built and how many have been ordered to build. I.e: If I want to build 10 giants, I already have 5, the indicator will be 5/10. If you have no giants built it will show 0/10.
5) The troops will be automatically distributed over your barracks to ensure the lowest building time
Additional info:
- A minus sign will be displayed in the pictures as well to decrease/cancel ordered troops.
- A message 'over capacity' will be displayed if you order more troops than your army camps can hold
- In the above case, troops can be ordered to build much in the same way as you now 'cook' troops in the separate barracks.
So there you have a it. A very simple, small innovation that makes troops building so much easier and efficient. No more scrolling between barracks, no more build-time calculation.
This specific idea hasn't been ruled out according to my interpretation of the sticky:

It doesn't customize troop builds, it doesn't allow for multi-troop building, nor does it allow to rearrange troops queues.
