October 2019 Update Bugs Thread

I cant get the app to load at all after update. Im using chromebook

I think the point from Darian about a language setting/filter was a good one, but I’d like to see us get a location setting. I’d like to see us get all sorts of settings that exclude players from our own search results, but that is one of them.

The comment about language filters being too difficult to impliment is not the truth at all. All devices have a language filter or most people wouldnt be able to read the text. The game also uses this language filter and has additional options to change language in game. Also sc has already implimented those language settings in global as a filter so everyone would go to their own language global. They could just use that same code so people only find players with same in-game language setting as themselves.

I expect honesty.

Edit: also its still not functioning at all. Im a max th12 opted into invites for days and nobody can find me or invite me.

notification continually reappears for old support conversations.

Then SC shouldn't have said that something 'good' was coming. Yes, I know, it can't be anything BUT that in your book, but the world is bigger.... And SC could have, and should have seen this. If they would have done any relevant testing, there would have been discussion about this - or especially the lack of it. It really is THAT simple.

What's this thread for? I see no actual movement from supercell to address any of the issues with this so called recruiting tool.

I can't specify TH level.

I can't specify language.

I can't trust the achievements listed because almost everyone shows things completed that if you look at numbers aren't.

It only allows 3 labels but I don't get any players on the list that show any chosen label. So what do the labels do exactly?

I think we all just got screwed and supercell doesn't really care as long as they could kill global!
