Players who max town halls. A dying breed?

Most people like to see high level kings but I only got minions to 4 before going to th 9 in the lab

I'm 3d from TH9 finishing, and 'mostly' maxed. All defensive buildings will be max level when TH finishes, but I didn't finish walls, BK (he is at 7), DE lab upgrades. This wasn't an impatience thing, more of a strategic decision. With 5 builders, there are almost 60 days more of lab upgrades than the most efficient build out of defensive buildings. I chose to push back the DE stuff, because passive DE income quadruples at TH9 (which also coincidentally has more time upgrading buildings than lab upgrades, so lab can 'catch up').

Maxing all the DE upgrades while at TH8 is tough. While at TH8, I finished upgrading all my buildings, and got 2/3 of my walls to skull, but I just couldn't bear to wait out all the DE lab and BK upgrades.

I found it easier to finish those off at TH9, since you can up your drills to level 6, get a 2nd drill, and (most importantly) have better troops and bigger army camps with which to raid other villages that are overflowing with DE.

I have all defenses maxed at th8 as well,everything except one tesla lvl left now!Ive got all elixer troops maxed however i still got 2 lvls of minion and hogs and then golems (not worrying bout the valks lol) Now i just gotta finish my skulls (only done 90) and 3 lvls of BK......I think maybe 3 weeks till ive done it all

I found maxing TH8 pretty simple but TH9 was just too much for me. Done it all except walls and DE though.

A rare breed, but not extinct. I maxed my TH8 before going to TH9, and fully intend to max that, as well. Wish I could offer some kind of rationale other than 'I do it because I want to', but I can't. :)

Congratz man, way to go! Im currently a maxed th9 myself :cool: . Maxing out is the best way i feel. Also all farmed not gemmed.

My last two teslas are on their way to level 6 (2 days left) and my last 2 air defenses will upgrade to level 6 whilst I upgrade my town hall :)

No, we still exist. All players in the Opes clans will prioritise upgrades before upgrading their TH...

I myself am a new TH10 and did not upgrade my TH9 until I was sitting on 100% laval walls ;)
