I'm assuming the search bar for recruiting ismt working because its own. Would it be possible to add what townhall level we are looking for? All I've seen so far are th12 and a few th11. Sometimes I need lower townhalls. I don't know how I'm gonna play as much now without global, but of course I just cant quit and will get used to it. I wonder how long its gonna take me to stop clicking the button for global? It will be missed.
I witnessed horrible things said on global. I saw people who came on only to insult and harm others. I either muted them or calmly pointed out how wrong that is. It makes sense why hosting that atmosphere would be unacceptable to a company, and i feel bad for the pickle that put supercell in. But global was an important ingredient of the special sauce that is clash, and i fear for the future of the game and even more so the future of my clan without it.
Something feels really off about this update, more so than any other update. Feels so wrong global not being available . A huge feeling of isolation all of a sudden . I mean even clans with 50 in it can be quiet sometimes .Quote:

I would just like to say this 99% of the time global was toxic from my perspective is absolutely untrue! I often logged on to global, and rarely found it to be so. I recruited many fun and active players from there and here's the thing I chatted to them first! This tool wont replace that I assume.. ever as the whole idea of this update is to stifle comunucation between players because of a few bad eggs? I say nuts.Quote:

The new recruiting tool needs a filter for location, adult, th and whether base is in a clan or not. Currently is useless in my humble opinion.
This game is a lot less entertaining without global chat. This does not bode well for the long term future of clash.
This update feels like it isolates players from being able to speak to people in other clans and get ideas or help from them. I don't like this update at ALL. You should start making polls and letting players vote on updates you make. Stop implementing stuff YOU think will make the game better. After 6 years of playing I think this is the worst update to date.
Also, if this update was because of toxicity in global chat, you should make players put in the year/month they were born in and let adults speak to adults and children stick to speaking with other children. Also another idea might be to make veteran players who respect the code of conduct on the global chat- chat moderators. I also think the word filter on the global chat is a bunch of ♥♥. I speak spanish and sometimes in the latin global chat words that aren't even curse words are censored. Also, I am an adult and should be able to express myself freely without censorship.
I agree heartily. Global was often very intelligent I fondly remember many hillarious conversations and spirited debates. It was a great way to learn as a beginner, and as a very experienced player (like many here). I have been able to pass on what help I can to others. It's very sad to see it go. The game is less interesting without it. I know why supercell did it, but I don't see their arguments holding water in the long run. I found friends whose clan I would hop in and out of, and vice versa. While waiting for troops to train, I'd discuss important things like the perfect pizza, or the weather in other countries.
