Sunsetting Global Chat Channel in the October Update

Are there any rumors to what the recruitment tools are going to be? When does the update actually come out?

Nothing is known so far only a small announcement in the first post about the improvement of an almost non existent Clan recruitment functionality besides the global chat.

If it's already an answered question, then I'm sorry.

Anyway, I wonder if there are any ways to keep the global chat. I agree that having a separate channel for recruitment sounds really great. But in fact, I am really upset with the news about the global chat.

If Supercell so overwhelmed with regulating the global chat, why not then just delegate the responsibility from them to players? Like in clan chats, you just get rid off players you do not like to talk and don't bother with all other stuff. Why not just remove the button "Report" and keep global chat as it is? I mean, with mute function it will regulate itself.

Seriously, I think the global chat is one of the huge part of the game. It is the global chat that saves the day. Small talks with other players, sharing experiences, hearing news, requesting troops when your clanmates are sleeping)... For me it is hard to imagine the game without it.

So, maybe someone knows how to make alterations to the Supercell's plans?

As others have said, I'm pretty sure it's a done deal. If it's in the game, supercel is responsible for monitoring it. Darian noted some pretty serious incidents involving threats and potential for real world violence. I really doubt they would say have at it kiddos. Play nice and use the mute button.
