Well, ok maybe im being obnoxious about the dont know what people are talking about. Im just passionate about it. I have about 20 clans bookmarked from back in the day people i knew. There are quite a few of them that literally have about 3-4 active players in it, the rest of the clan is dead. You can imagine how many clans are like this. Now, if you took all of these clans with only a few active players in it, and got them together with active bigger clans, look at how the quality of clan wars, clan games and cwl become. This game needs these players to start coming together to create more quality and less quantity

Even if its just for clan games. That would be the perfect time to merge people together. Get people in the clan for clan games, let them get to know eachother, get the rewards everybody helps eachother upgrade, build comriderie. That would be a great place to start

Paint drying is more interesting than global when I've visited. Maybe you are in a different global region. Or a better time. As far as clouds, worst in titan 2 is less than a minute. Maybe 5 or 10 in 1. I can get in an attack on my mini, play a game of solitaire, surf my news feed on my phone while searching on my tablet or play whack a mole muting join and gf requests. Hmmm...

Global was a good idea at the inception of mobile gaming but if it didn’t exist then nobody would be asking for it in its current guise.

Things have moved on and the randomness of which global you end up in, the fact that you cannot reconnect with players after the game times out or once the messages have scrolled off the screen, all adds up to a feature which is beyond its sell by date.

I can see new clans may have found it useful but not sure why people with long standing clans need it as if these clans have such stable members why are they constantly recruiting?

Anyway hopefully the next iteration proposed by SC will be more appropriate and useful to the game today.

I agree.. i think this will be honestly the death of clash of clans. Unless they drop the building times for troops like in clash royale. Global kept it interesting while waiting for troops.. i have multiple accounts and i just might delete the game to be honest. Love this game.. played for years.. put thousands of dollars into the game.. and now the main recruiting center will be taken away.. not happy about this.

I find it more useful now that we have a long time established clan. New clans are more in need of an open system that has players coming in and out, testing them out, kicking them, dealing with all that nonsense. I remember those days. For years now my clan has been closed. We only invite it, no one gets to request. Despite being a long time clan we still have a few players come and go so we are usually recruiting for an open spot.

Considering how many clans Have used global successfully to build our clans and there is the “supposed” magical recruitment tools that will work for us all, then why has it not been implemented in any of the other games? In addition to leader of Clan in CoC, I was previously a leader in Royale and BB. The latter two are horrible when it comes to add new players. Is this is what’s gonna happen to CoC? I gave up leadership on Royale because there’s no way to chat and recruit. We end up with foreign people who don’t speak English but keep em anyways just to have someone. If CoC goes this route, i see lots of clans fizzling out. Good luck with this and I’m gonna try to stay optimistic. Hope it works out in the long run for us all or I’m out...

I am very active on Clash of Clans both in Clan Chat and Global. I loved the social aspect of Clash of Clans. I sometimes play on my computer, so I talk in global while doing something else on my 2nd monitor or in my room. I really enjoyed talking to players, new or old and there's a lot of great people on there. I will admit global chat is very toxic at times, and even I have partaken in that. But that's human behavior, no matter what game it is, there will be negative people in there. Like others have said, there's a mute button for a reason. Or simply just go to a new global or just stop partaking in that one. People enjoy talking with each other, that's the great aspect of this game, and now that's gone. I know you think that you're doing the right thing by taking it away, but I really wouldn't think so. Like others have also said, let global run itself. Have an option to remove toxic players via a kick option, with enough people doing it to get rid of those guys. If you look at the little kids in today's age, they're as worst or even worst than the older players. You might think you're doing it for their protection but that's just stupid. Kids will learn how to deal with issues. You can't solve stuff by running away. I remember when I was younger I got bullied in global a lot, but I dealt with it. I think the adults are just too pampering to the kids, you can't protect them from everything. This is just me venting, but I'm just very disappointed in this decision. Definitely will just play Clash of Clans for only a few minutes every few hours now. Ruined a huge aspect of the game for me.

In truth, glad to see what I always referred to as the Global Cesspool go away. I witnessed way too many instances of online bullying (reported them all) & other despicable behavior while trying to find a few good clan mates. Way past time, good job SC.

Saw this update and had to comment to please dont add a private message feature instead. I chose to play the way i do so i dont get spammed and harassed
