Im not undermining him, I just said I was surprised. Unlike other people I know who do have something against Tom, I don't. I joined Unity long after Tomrapp was there. I said what I said because Toms name hasn't come up too much in the past for leading an event, so I was genuinely surprised that someone nominated him. I didn't say that in a malicious way, its the first time his name has come up that I've seen, so I was just vocalizing that. Would I take back the comment? No, I wouldn't, because to myself, I know that I didn't say it to diss Tomrapp. And thankfully, he didn't think of my comment as undermining him either.

Looks like this is to be highly popular again. I had great fun last forum elite, but don't really want to go up as lead as I'm very busy with work these upcoming months. But I'll sure be down for elder to help and support the leader and manage the clan. Forum elite is always awesome to push with other forumites, make friends and have a good laugh!

What if we started signups for this epic event in mid-January, and started a week later maybe? Or is this all too soon...

And im thinking we should use the same rules as last year because (i think) they worked quite well... Kinda just Copy&Paste lol

I was kinda hoping for late February-early March. I need some time to settle in to th9, so I can push. If its in jan, I cant push or do anythung, I will be too busy with long upgrades.

I had a ton of fun in last FE when Kendra was leading the feeder. FYI she's a woman.

Couple of questions and thoughts:

I'm wondering how many clans are we doing this time?

Is it still a feeder system?

How are we selecting members of each clan? By trophy counts? By levels? By post counts? By popularity?

I honestly disliked how the previous FE members were selected based on post count. There are many members here who visit the forums on a regular basis but do not necessary feel the need to post everyday.

I reckon we'll need 3~ main, feeder, donor, but that's something for later. I imagine a feeder is necessary as it's only one clan that'll show up.

I have to imagine the system may be apt for change, possibly a committee or something to decide members, but that is best left to the leader.

I think we may very well need 3 clans this time, assuming demand is roughly what it looks like it will be.

Honestly, I think there are better ways to do it than what I came up with last time. I think a more equal (and open) system would be better. Have a few core forumers in each clan and then just let people fill in the spots however they please. No minimums, just be a forumer. After all, this is as much if not more a social event as a trophy push.

I totally agree on a more open system. Afterall this is a social event and part of the attraction for me is to hang out with some forumers in a clan.

Agreed. You still need 1 main clan but people are free to move around others until last 48 hours or something.

Well the donating clan, the only other specialized clan, will disturb chat with green and red. Just more convenient for chatters/farmers.

What I believe may work is we get 2-3 clans a certain "core" of main members to start/run each then we ask if preference anywhere then use some placing software to place everyone, switch up from there. I believe placing may have to be partially randomized as I expect a fair majority wanting to join in with a clan with daddy, sneaky, and you.

Well not for the foreseeable, probably during Late February sometime around that, Many events are going on such as Loc - so it would be not be wise to clash with the other events. First lie down the foundations, then build on from there :)
