Return Winning troops

Hi I am new to this game and have not read threw all the forms so I am sorry if this has already been suggested.

I was wondering if the deployed troops that are remaining alive after an attack when they win can be returned to my army camp instead of being lost as if I lost the attack?

Also once a troop character is deployed can there be a way to redirect them to targets instead of letting them run to the nearest target and attack?

I am almost positive this idea has been ruled out. Read the stickies!
I read through the Battle section and nothing of the sorts was there. I'm sorry! I should read before posting. No there isn't a way, use goblins or giants.

The thing is with the troops though,if u used 100 archers obviously theyre gonna destroy a defenses a lot quicker than 10,so whats stopping you spamming every troop and then getting them all back at the end?The way it is now it makes u think about how best to attack something rather than just spam everything at once

Exactly. It would be too easy to spam mass drags constantly.

This idea -should- be ruled out but isn't.
