Bunker 1.0 TH8 Farming Base

My th8 upgrade will be done in a few days and I wanted to create a original TH8 base. This is my first TH8 base design so it's probably full with mistakes. I would like some advice and feedback. Anyways, here is it.

Do you not care about dark elixir?

I do. That's actually one thing I want to improve.

I would switch the dark elixer storage with the gold storage located next to the clan castle.

Imperium I'll be honest. This base will not work. You are trying to make a TH7 base on a TH8. You can't expose dark elixir nor you can have a core with 5 buildings. That's what you do on a TH7 base. Also don't protect your air defenses that well, you won't need them unless when trophy hunting. Keep them in a triangle and don't expose them too much so that you are not attacked by GiantHealer, but don't put one of them on your core. Cover all your gold and dark elixir storages with wizard towers, they (wizard towers) are your best hope in th8, in my opinion, the best defenses in th8. Funnel with spring traps in the outside of your base, what I mean by this is, don't use wizard towers (best th8 defense) as an object of funneling. They are way to precious. Use cannons instead. Last advice, protect teslas! They are super awesome against wall breakers because of their rate of fire. Do not underestimate them just because they only take 4 squares.

I'm trying to fix it but I can't get it perfect. Should I start over or just use a popular design?

Don't try to fix that base. Create a new one that fits your likes but that works at the same time.

Of course you can have a core of 5 buildings. I had a core of 5 and 3 teslas + a giant bomb for my TH8.. Lol. ;)

Put the DE storage closer to the centre!
maybe swap with the AD and put that somewhere ;)

Other than that. Looks like a good base ;)
