How good is farming below 300 trophies

I am in th8 with lvl4 troops. But giants, archers and goblins are lvl5 and army camp of 200. I have lvl6 walls and few lvl7. Defenses are middle upgraded. I want to max the upgrades. I get avg 1.5+K per raid. My farming range is 1200-1400.
But ppl used to say we get more collector raids below 300 trophies. Is that true? Can I go below 300 trophies. Is it worth going?

Considering 300- trophies will be TH2/TH3... Why would you go?

Up in where you are it is far better. I tried it for a bit and it was ok, however I only made around a million of each resource per day. Up in 1200 I get that in an hour:) . Keep in mind you will be hitting next for a long time though, for that alone it is hard to save gold.

So it is better to farm above 1000 right :)

I would say your trophy range is good. I always farm in that range even as a th9. I would say you could get closer to 300k (especially with the boosted collectors right now) if you stop settling for the 150k raids. I don't raid anything for less than 200k and i strive for 250k+. Stop settling and keep pressing next and the gold will come :)

If you're looking to farm at really low trophies, go below 200 not 300 (199 and below)

I wouldn't suggest going below 200, there are people TH8-TH10, but the loots aren't insane. Also, the players you find down there usually are really well setup bases (completely maxed TH8s, TH9s, TH10s). For example, this is one TH10 base I found whilst subzero farming:

A very very good point!

Dont go there.

There are some serious freaks down there.

I made a stint to sub 200 a few days ago, and one such freak burnt 1000 de just to get net 150k elix from me. Completely irrational.

Between 200 and 700, most bases you encounter will have less than 500 available loot.

Below 200, you will see bases +/- 2 within your town hall level. There are very few available targets to choose from, and you will see the same bases over and over again.
