With my vault around 1200, it is great.

I'm anxious to see how the loot will be when 1 gem boost ends.... /scared

There is no point to discuss loot until after the boosts end.

It looks like the general concensis is it's good. :)

I think the real test will be after the gem boost. Let's cross our fingers and hope it stays the same

loot is and will continue to be bad unless supercell makes a few changes, and here's why (assuming gem boost will be gone here soon and not coming back).

In order to get the maxed out loot available, you have to have a kick ♥♥♥ army ready to go. Costing more elixir. You also have to be ready to hit next a few more times. So right there, takes away some of the loot.

Secondly.. People are approaching the game differently.. For instance, you have to make at least a 1-2 hour nonstop raid-a-thon, then set your phone down and hope for a snipe. After the snipe (12 hour shield), you wait until your shield comes close to the 1 or 2 hour mark before breaking it. So to sum this up.. People that actually have loot in storages, are riding shields much more than before.

Well I think just those two points sum it up fairly nicely, and why loot is a drag right now. Hopefully it all gets better in due time.

Don't really think it's worthy of discussion yet as to whether the new system is working, and is an improvement to the old one.

Too many boosts at the moment to really get a clear view of what is to come. The real test will be a week or so AFTER boosts have ended.

But for now I am enjoying amazing loot thanks to these boosts, I am going to miss them.

One of my first raids of 2014, or probably my first one :)
