New Spell: Heavy Duty

This spell should be used for your own base. It should be called Heavy duty. It can make Archer Towers and Cannons double the speed that they shoot. I think the spell factory should make spells that benefit your own base. These should cost gold, as attack spells cost elixir.
Heavy Duty

• 40000 elixir
• Targets all archer towers and cannons in your base
• Area Splash
• Archer Towers and Cannons shoot x2 speed
• 1 hour training time
• To upgrade you need a lab lvl 5
• The spell at lvl 1 should last for 3 hours and should have a 30 minute cooldown. Stats increase as upgraded

This is a great idea but how would you apply it if you were getting attacked?

You if you leave your base and you don't have a shield, you would cast the spell. You put the spell on the base when you are online, then when you are off, in those three hours the spell would do its work to the attacker.

I know that attack spells, lightning, rage etc. are gold. So the defense spell, Heavy Duty should be elixir.

No they are now paid for using elixir and don't use gold...

You idiot, all the spells (lightning, heal, rage, jump and freeze) cost elixir.
How would you deploy this spell? Does it target the whole base? Does it stack? If so, this means that you get 6 of them ( because the spell factory needs upgrading) and everything in the targeted area has 6 spells dropped on them.
This would mean that towers attack at 32x regular speed, do you want to turn a mortar into an xbow?

Terrible idea, as with all defensive spell suggestions.

Sorry about that, it just really annoys me when someone is told that they are wrong and it is obvious but they still think they are right. I.e. this guy was told that spells cost elixir but he then went on to state that spells cost gold.

My bad people. It should be gold instead of elixir. The sticky at the top of the page said gold, so I got confused. Edited.
