I would like to share and thank SC for the Gem boost. I boosted my barrack and attack as much as possible using Barch/ gobs.
I started farming Level 8 skulls on Dec 24th, now i already have
169 lvl8 walls and 56 purple walls left. Hopefully i can finish this by January 4 or lesser. :-)

4. im not doing any boost; waste of gems for me n it eats 'em up fast. the 1 week boost in august though was awesome. I've only spent 17 or 18 gems on the boost so far, and that was out of crazy excitement, stupidity/not thinking properly, and desperation
He didn't say the boost ended on Jan 4, he said he hoped to finish his walls by Jan 4.Quote:

I don't think spending gems during the boost is stupid, I kinda think the boost overall is stupid. I only have 180 gems, and I wanna save them for when I really need them, I can farm enough, so the gem boost is just a waste of gems for me. I get enough, elixir, boosting my DE drill is stupid as it fills up really quickly for little, and 6 gems a day is crazy for gold. it adds up like clicking that "next" button. ur guys' choice, but im not boosting, I think its a waste of gems.Quote:

If you already got your builders, these things are what you should be using gems for imo.
How does that add up? All of my gold mines are L11 and I'm TH9. So 6 mines making 3,000 G/Hour means I make 72,000 gold each day from each pump. That's 432,000 gold a day. Spend 6 gems and it doubles to 864,000 gold a day. I'll take that for 6 gems without even thinking about it.Quote:

@NFactorial: I have better things to use my gems for. like speeding up upgrades. ima kid so I cant be on 24/7 i'll use my gems for those things.
all my collectors are lvl 11 also, but 864K gold in a day? I can get that in 4-5 raids, but I already get 432K a day anyways, so it just saves me 2-3 raids. for me, it takes about 5-6 days getting 6 gems. my luck has gone down and I don't get gems from obstacles that much anymore. I barch and takes me about 10 minutes to find a base, and 20 mins to train. so is it worth sacrificing 4 days for 1 and half hours? for me, no. u guys may be lucky n buy gems and get 2-3 gems every time for each obstacle, but im not and I don't, so my situation is different and spending 6 gems per day adds up like that next button which is crazy.Quote:
