I heard on another thread that it would be easier to push to masters with the boost

I am a th8 with all elixir troops maxed (everything is level 5 and the healer, drag, and pekka are level 3). My dark troops are level 1 except the minion, which is level 2 and upgrading to 3 now (5 days left).

My cup level atm: 1791 (G1)
My strategy:
BAM as long as I can (until maybe 2000-2200)
Balloonian the rest of the way to masters (30 loons, 25 minions)
If that proves to be too hard, I'll drag+rage it to masters (1 hog for cc luring, 15 archers, 9 dragons)

My goals: (im aiming high)
1/1 wed. : Gold 2
1/2 thurs. : gold 1
1/3 fri.: crystal 3
1/4 sat.: crystal 3
1/5 sun.: crystal 2

My questions:
Can I make it to masters by boost raiding?
What strategy should I use, based on the levels above.
What base should I use? This is my base. If there are any better ones, please post them.

I'm using 10 lvl 3 drags, along with 2 lvl 5 Rage Spells and a lvl 5 Heal Spell. I'm also TH8, just using my farm design.
I'm at 2410- 2450 as of this post.

Idk, looning with level 5 balloons and level 2 minions will prove very difficult.

I would say snipe for as long as you can, but seeing as you said you're in Crystal 1 - they're probably becoming scarce. You'd probably be best off with the "drag/rage/heal" combo you had going. Balloons level 5 and minions 2 (as stated above) - with only 200 troops would be rough - possible, but rough.

What the title says. ^

I just got to masters yesterday. However, I'm a th9. For a th8 I would recommend mass dragon attacks and 3 rage spells. If you have level 4 hogs, use 12 of them to take out air defenses that are close to the outside of the base. You'll find a good amount of bases that have terribly exposed air defenses because they're supposed to be anti hog bases that dont prioritize air defenses. Thats what i had to do above 2550 trophies.

I guess that Ill attempt to loonian, but if that proves to be too difficult, I'll go with the drag strategy you and someone else said before.

Is it working? Nothing against you, but I find drags very disobedient and dumb. haha

Getting 2300 is easier, but after that it takes so long to find a match that BAM or barch should usually be done, even with no boost.
