Having seen a few Th5/6/7's in masters here on the forums with similar troops in their camps, and a couple I witnessed myself on global, it's likely that they are all TH sniping. As a Th5/6/7 you are only able to access L3/4 Barbs and Archers, & combined with less / smaller army camps I can't see how a Th6 for example would have gotten to 3000 cups by 50% ing (eg 1 starring by picking off outside buildings) with these level / number of trooops.

I can only assume that they have sniped there. Not to mentioned I have heard from a couple myself who claimed to have snipe exposed / ish TownHalls in order to get there.

sniping your way to masters is one thing and its totally doable if you like to hit 'next ' alot and generally
have heaps of time on your hands... but sniping to Champ I don't believe is possible, unless you employ some sort of mechanical device which keeps hitting next for you and then beeps if it sees an exposed th.

I have seen several people go to champ ( the proper way, not sniping ) in the last three month, some gemmed some some didn't... reaching champ is not an easy feat regardless of gem use...and unless i see some proof of someone 'sniping' their way up there in the current game environment I will continue to disbelief these claims.

I don't think anyone has claimed or is claiming to have sniped to champ as of yet. Some have however managed to get to masters 1.

I can see, based on your assumptions, how you can draw that conclusion. It doesn't seem as far fetched now I guess, but I still would bet the farm against it. The x factor in all of this is if the person spent an inordinate amount of time seeking out ths outside. I think we're all slightly making different points to be honest. I can succeed that it could be possible. But what % of bases in the 2800-3000 cup range would you say have th outside and unprotected?

That's where, at least in my experience, I don't believe it's possible without devoting an insane amount of time skipping bases. I yoyod between m1 and champ league more times than I'd like to admit while dropping to farm resources for upgrades, try new troops, etc. So I spent a lot of time raiding in those ranges with a lot of different troops. I can count on one hand the number of ths outside I've seen in masters one, maybe a few more in masters two, but it's literally a fraction of a fraction.

Based on my experiences sniping to 2600 a while back it does require a huge amount of time. This is usually in the form of clicking next, and staying online so that you don't suffer multiple attacks / revenges and thus lose several trophies. Quite a few players in Masters have mentioned they do see the odd exposed townhall around there. Obviously the amount of them is a very small %. At 2600 I was clicking next at least 150/200 times to find a townhall, the most it took me was 420. I can only imagine they become less and less frequent the higher you go which explains the limited number of people who have acheived Masters II / I by doing this. It is possible with a lot of time and dedication. Keeping a level head is certainly very important. The best thing you can do is stay positive when you lose, or when you have spent a long time searching for an exposed TH with no success, & remember that it's not a question of "will I ever find an exposed TH", but instead, "when will I find one, becuase there will be one, whether it be in 1 click, 50 clicks or 1000 clicks, or possibly even more".

He mistakenly thought that the Th7 who massed drag was a TH sniper. I believe it was confirmed that this person got there by getting 50%.

I could be wrong and very well may be, but I think we may have been those guys and hijacked the thread. But I never had chatted w some of yall before so it's cool to get to chat some, differing beliefs/opinions or not. Sorry for the hijack and nice to meet you champion snipers. ;) jk

Hmm.. So have u tried it Sandal? Becoz i see in your profile the highest trophy count reached was 2640...

Anyway i managed to hit champion league during my last push post inferno update and during boost event..with just balloons + minions but its really not easy.. Even if u spend a full day playing.. Winning 5-10 trophies per attack then occasionally losing one attack and get pushed back by 20+ trophies...

And after 2900 Practically 8 out of 10 bases are on twin inferno multiple modes or otherwise very centralised AD... Might be much harder than the way u put it..
