Use a separate camera.
😀:p
Its possible if your device is rooted.
Do you know how I would do that?

Otherwise use a phone to snap a picture.
Replied. Try this method instead.

Press and hold the volume down button and the power button at the same time.
You’ll find both of them on the top of the device. As long as you hold them down at exactly the same time, you’ll see an animation and hear a sound indicating that you've captured a screenshot. Now go to the Photos app and you’ll see a Screenshots album with your captured screenshot in it
Edit: Sorry this doesn't work on kindle fire 2
Connect to a computer than screenshot your computer? Of course download software to record your screen. Idk. Giving ideas.

Next time buy a normal Android tablet, I can read Amazon books on my other Android Tablets just fine too. And they're probably a lot cheaper :')
Connect it to your computer and take screenshot with your computer. Very easy to do it. Just install the software.
Do not , I repeat , Do Not! Root your tablet , rooting brings more problems than can ever solve.
lol what. If you bring problems while rooting your device it is YOUR fault because YOU didn't read the tutorial well enough, didn't prepare or did something wrong. I enjoyed my phone way more when it was rooted because of all the new things I could do with it. If you screw up, it's your fault, not the root's.
