Upgrade TH or continue to do walls?

Currently TH8. Maxed defences and elixir troops.
113 skull walls. 112 dark purple walls.
BK level 9.
Minions level 4, all other DE troops are level 1. The only other DE troop I'd like to upgrade right now are golems. But my DE raids are borderline abysmal.

Initially I wanted to stay at TH8 and get all my walls to skull. Now I'm thinking if I should go ahead and upgrade to TH9 taking advantage of the boosts that we only have for another 8 days?

*also, If I do upgrade to TH9. I'll continue to do walls while I'm waiting.

Getting all of your walls done first helps in the long run, personally I like to get all of my defences (most expensive things) out of the way first, this way, the game experience can only improve.

By the time your th finishes, boost will be over :(

Makes a huge difference concidering the new buildings you would want to have at TH9.
Realistically, once at TH9, would you want to keep upgrading walls "or" get an X-Bow ? Or a wizard tower or an archer tower or a tesla etc ...
It's a huge pain in the but to upgrade all walls. I recently did this myself prior to Upgrading to TH9 about 9 days ago and boy am I glad I did.
Also helps to have all DE maxed to what TH8 allows.

True, but I don't mind that. My only concern is the sucky loot we're likely to see once the next update comes out / after the 7th of Jan. And with that, trying to save 3 mil will be much harder than it is right now.

Im just one of those people who need to have everything maxed before the th upgrade finishes ;) 194 lv 8s, 30 to go, should have them done by tomorrow.

get enough walls done before you upgrade your TH, so that while your waiting for TH to finish you can finish walls.
Keep in mind, you should have enough time to fill your storages right before TH finishes.

If I keep doing them with the same speed as I have now.. Maybe 1 and a half months - 2 months. :)

I personally followed the rule of maxing all defenses and walls before upgrading my TH until I was at TH8. As soon as my defenses were maxed at TH8, I upgraded to TH9, and I have no regrets.

At higher levels everyone has flying troops/hogs/jump spells anyway.

I saved my gold during the TH9 upgrade, rather than farm walls at that time, so that I could start two xbows right away.
