The Reddit CoC Community's clan system has reached and passed 1,000 in game members

Dear mods, this isn't a recruitment post, more announcement/inspiration for others. If you feel like it belongs in the Clan Talk subforum, feel free to move it.

The Reddit Clan System has just passed our 1,000th member. With 21 clans we focus on bringing our positive community in game though our 19 social clans and 2 competitive clans.

I just wanted to make this post and hopefully inspire any other clan leaders out there and let you know it absolutely is possible to run a multi-clan group. Hopefully Supercell will provide additional support for managing clans in the future (linking clans, adding password support, dealing with the confusing "invite only"/"join" setting, providing additional leader tools to remove inactive members, allowing ability to transfer clan members between clans, perhaps reserving naming schemes (imposter clans, anyone?), etc) but for now you can definitely jury-rig it.

I am no longer a leader of any of these clans, but I do assist in the recruitment and overall management of the clan system as a whole.

Uhh...no, not what I meant. Not ones with specifically the name Reddit in them. Clans like mine...Narwhal Bacon

There were many other clans inspired by Reddit not necessarily with the name Reddit in them before /r/clashofclans was around. Like mine.

Not trying to take away from what you've done with that clan system, because its damn impressive, but don't assume because its inspired by Reddit and isn't a part of your system that it is an "imposter" somehow.

1000+ people is a really high number. Good job, Flams.

This is the largest clan system that I have seen.
