Clan rules quiz [Please read, it's not what you think] [Setting not mandatory]
Now, before I began this new idea that hasn't been thought of before, please do not put comments in the thread like "This is clash of clans, not high school", because
"This setting isn't mandatory "
I know that some clans don't have strict rules, but many of them do have strict rules especiallythe top clans and the high level clans.
Many people do think that it's hard to run a high level clan, you have to watch out if people that you get are loyal and you can trust. They have to follow the rules and the clan rankings are hard to keep stable. People always think "Should I trust this person" or "Should I promote him.
My idea..
This is where my idea comes in place, "What if clan leaders had the option to give small clan rule quizzes to new members. Now you might be thinking, but this is a game. Well I'll tell you right now, leaders have the option to turn this off or on if they want, they don't have to make quizzes for the members. But, if the leaders were to choose yes, then he or she will send it to all the members.
Note - This quiz will ONLY go to all the members, no elders. The leader can also have the option to choose which member he or she wants to take the quiz
Layout-
If the leader does choose to make a quiz for the members, then this is how it will work. (This is from the perspective from my clan leader, my perspective will come later)
In the leaders description, he or she will right away see the button in the page.
http://memecrunch.com/meme/1O0JL/1/image.png
Steps to send out a quiz.
-Step 1
When the leader clicks the button, it will automatically bring him to this page below. Here, he would have the option to add the amount of questions to the clan quiz, with the max amount being 20 only. He also has the option to choose if the answers are multiple choice or text style.
-Here's so examples of questions he can create
1. What is the amount of troops you have to donate per season?
A - 2000 troop
B - 2500 troops
C - 1500 troops
D - 1000 troops
2. When you get a new member into the clan, what do you do?
A - Welcome him
B - Explain rules / Welcome him
Of course the answers of a leader will be more formal, but this is just an example.
Here is how the page might look like (Example)
http://memecrunch.com/meme/1O0O6/1/image.png
Now let's go to the perspective of me if I was a leader-
Once the leader summits the quiz to all the members OR the members he choose, it will go into the member's inbox's where he can take the quiz from now on. There can be a small message with the quiz to, but here's what it may look like..
http://memecrunch.com/meme/1O0Q1/1/image.png
Once the members clicks the button to take the quiz, here's what it will look like. There would be all the questions the leader sent. Now the members can fill out the quiz and submit it. Once it's submitted, all results will go to the leader
http://memecrunch.com/meme/1O0RJ/1/image.png
Finally when the quiz gets submitted, all the results from all members will be automatically sent to the leader in the page where he or she made the quiz. This is where the leader now can make his or her decision on whether to promote the members or not, the leader will be also able to send a message to all the members
http://memecrunch.com/meme/1O0SL/8/image.png
Finally, it's the leaders decision on whether the member is good enough to become an elder or not, when the leader looks at the results, each member will receive a message if the passed or not. The leader will also say if he or she will be promoted
http://memecrunch.com/meme/1O0TJ/1/image.png
If the member passes, the leader still has the decision to promote him / her or not,
but of course, members that did bad will not get promoted, they will have to improve. This doesn't mean that all members that passed will get promoted. Again, like I said, he can choose who getsd promoted.
Forum user suggestions
#1 - Make it available to elders as well, not just members, so we can see if those elders are still worthy
- My Thought - I think this is a pretty good suggestion and it has been one of the most suggested things in this thread. I actually never thought of the idea when I was making it, but I think now that it can be pretty useful for elders as well, to see if they are still elder worthy or not :)

#2 - I think the max amount of questions should be 5 to 10 questions because you wouldn't want to be spammed with questions
- My thought - Very good thought here dccrew3 :) I actually didn't say that there was an unlimited amount of questions, the max I put in my thread was 20 questions. But I think in my opinion that 20 questions is alright for me, but good thought though!

#3 - The questions shouldn't be typed in, there should be a list of pre-written questions you can choose.
- My thought - Excellent thought here dccrew3, I actually have to say that this is one of my favorites. I actually know what you are trying to say, the leaders can just spam random questions that don't have to do with the game, which will screw up the entire quiz. People will probably enter questions like "Whats my favorite food?" So in my opinion I think this is one of the best suggestions here! :) +1

#4 - There should be a progress bar that shows how the person or member has been scoring in his recent tests to see if there is progress in him or if he is falling
- My thought - I think this is a pretty good suggestion! I have never heard of it and it can be a better way of tracking a member's progress over the past quizzes he has taken

#5 - There should be a requirement near the trophy requirement that says that required score you need to get when you complete a test
- My thought - This is another good idea, so there would be a requirement you have to score to earn elder and if you get a very bad score then the consequences can be realized on the member

Let me know what you think, please don't post flame comments because like I said and I'll say it again (The quiz is not mandatory!). Thank you for reading:)
i truly love this idea i used to own a clan, and i left due to cussing and everything
Lololol
But what if its for STAYING elder can u make a option to send it to elders too?
Man you didn't get the point

The only way to lower the rate of hoppers is to raise your trophy limit and to lay down the law on anyone who breaks the rules. That means: kick anyone who requests right after joining, kick anyone who routinely disobeys the rules, kick anyone who asks for promotion right after joining, and most importantly: dont let anyone back in the clan. Kids will always come up with dumb excuses and say they will be back in 5 minutes. No. Just say ok and dont let them back in. Rules are rules, sucks for you if you dont follow them. LAYING DOWN THE LAW IS DIFFERENT FROM A DICTATORIAL LEADERSHIP! If you have ever had an elder go rogue, you will understand why these rules have to be so strict. All it takes is 2 minutes while you're away and you're back to square 1.
So, no. I don't really like this idea
Man sorry to say this but you are wrong, yes I agree their will always be hoppers and people who ruin your clan but, you don't need to be like a dictator and pretty much kick anybody who ain't perfect. If your clan has a lot of hoppers and unloyal people it ain't their fault its the leaders and coleaders, they should be more active and create a more loyal clan, they are in charge they should get all the praise and blame. I understand some people can't be tamed, but you have to think of your clan like a community and not just a "clan", you have to understand people and how they play and not just think everybody plays like you or is as active, as you, you have to find out how everybody communicates and work with that and not just kill a perfect idea because you don't have a good clan or ain't a good leader. And yes I have had people go rogue I understand what you are saying. just last week 7 people form my clan split and made their on just because one of them got in a fight with me, and apparently my 'loyal members" decided to leave, its hard to deal with it I understand you jsut have to find out who really loyal and who isn't and this would help a lot.
I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
