I have been feasting off of abandoned collector bases since the barracks gem boost. At least 100 in the last week. If they are getting removed after 2 days, that's not what I am seeing. Maybe it's just a lot of casual players but would be nice to find out if there is a standard time frame that they go out at.

yes they can but the inactive rules are different when you have a shield it means that you will just not be attacked but you wont be removed it is like sleep mode once you get out of a shield and 24 hrs pass then they might be removedQuote:

I don't think SC has ever removed bases. Throughout my 4 week vacation in June/July, I was attacked every 3 or 4 days in the 1400 range at th 8. Obviously, I don't have screenshots but I noticed this because most attacks had intervals of 3 or so days

I disagree. If it is pushed back to the queue (not removed), then it is due to the game mechanics where bases which are logged off immediately appears in front of the search queue. That is they way the game should be, active bases turning up in searches more often to enchance the competitiveness.Quote:

So, assuming that inactive bases DON'T get removed completely (no proof), and they are merely pushed back to thd queue, there are 3 options:
1) active bases comes first
2) inactive bases comes first
3) completely random
Now, it's obvious that the system doesn't run on option 2, and it's a good thing. If it runs on option 1, it's understandable and it's good for game competitiveness. If it's running on option 3, then what we are experiencing are merely the fact that there are more active bases compared to inactive bases, which can't be helped.
