I am delighted to formally announce the creation of our Sister Clan Omnium 2. Omnium 2 will act as a feeder clan into Omnium and has been set up to cope with the increasing demand on membership of Omnium.
Beechy has taken the initiative and set up the clan (it's the one with the same livery as Omnium), I have asked one existing co-leader and two elders to spend some time with the new clan in order to attract initial membership and to help manage. Dk, Ryoji and Tubba will support, encourage and build what I hope will become a stable player base for the new clan.
Some key points about Omnium 2
> Omnium 2 will, first and foremost, extend the Omnium family. The ethos of the new part of Omnium should be the same as that which we have built for Omnium and behaviors and actions should mirror that of elders and leaders of Omnium. Essentially we are looking to create a clan of 100 members!
> Our feeder clan allows us to raise the entry bar to Omnium such that we maintain a steady 45-50 strong membership through attracting new players from the in-game chat / our forum, or by promoting those from Omnium 2.
> The desire to be in Omnium will be that of receiving better troops from higher players.
> Over time, rules for Omnium and Omnium 2 will have similar yet different rules.
> Current members of Omnium will not be asked to leave Omnium to join Omnium 2.
> Members of Omnium who do not make the minimum donations will be asked to leave, but will be invited to join Omnium 2 where the regular donation requirement will be lower.
If anyone has questions, concerns or wish to suggest a rule for Omnium 2 (or indeed an amendment to an Omnium rule) let's discuss here.

I joined Omnion 2 an hour or so ago and donated nearly a hundred level 4 troops in the first 5 minutes. Guess what I got in return :

You can obviously see how the mid to higher level players feel when getting these type of troops when you use up all your precious elixir to help out those that are lower leveled. Even though I do get a little ♥♥♥♥♥♥ off I still do not hesitate to donate. However, your sub lvl 20-30 members are asking for way too much.

When I do take the time to ask them whether my troops are ok, only very few reply. Thus, I ask you or whoever the leader of Omnion 2 is to either increase the trophy requirement to 1000+ or maybe set the clan to invite only so that only those that desire to participate as a proper clan member can join. Maybe this'll help stabilize the clan quicker.
Though we may have less members, we'll have more members in terms of quality. Nobody likes level 1 barbs after all.

That being said you will be receiving lower level troops, but there is no reason to complain. You should be happy that your fellow clan members are taking the time to donate to you. Just be glad to receive donations.
All you did in this forum post of yours was complain and if you don't like the clan and what it is there for, then you can gladly leave.
Your attitude toward the other members is not what Omnium is looking for and if you think you are a more advanced player than the rest in Omnium 2, than maybe a feeder clan is not for you.

First and foremost, welcome to the Omnium family, thank you for registering on the forum and thank you for providing your thoughts.
You clearly are donating a lot which is really great to see. What I suspect is happening is what happens when new clans are set up. People who wander between clans asking for high level troops are taking advantage of the fact that we are trying to build something strong (and thus have a few high level players in there to attract other good players).
One rule that we developed for Omnium was to set the entry trophy count to the median of the clan. I think it would probably be a good thing to adopt in Omnium 2. If we were to do this, and in agreement with your suggestion, the trophy count should be set to 1,000. I will suggest this to the Omnium 2 leader and have it implemented as quickly as possible.
What will probably happen is that there will be a number who do not stick around. However, the trick with the new clan is to build a critical mass of players such that others are attracted to join when looking or being persuaded through global chat. That critical mass, however, will remain stable and the trick then is to keep those that join who demonstrate the qualities you're looking for.
It would be great to see you hang in there. It's great to have someone on board who clearly cares about the clan you've just joined. Helping others progress is at the heart of Omnium so if you're a player higher up in experience than those donating, it may well be that the troops you receive in return are of lower level. My feeling is that by helping others progress, they'll develop better troops and they'll be able to donate stronger troops back to you in the future.
The exciting part of Omnium 2 is that if you are successful, you'll be given the opportunity to come up to Omnium where players are generally at a higher level and troop donations are strong.

Thanks for replying. I guess you're right then. I apologize if I made a mistake as I'm somewhat new to Clash and it's community. I also had no idea what feeder meant before this. However, I only posted the above reply as I thought that the clan would too slowly mould into something like Omnium with sub 30 players that don't really know what they're doing. It seems that you guys are sincere and responsible leaders, good luck to both your clans and hopefully it becomes something even bigger one day. As you have said, this clan is infact not for me, I feel as if my donate/receive ratio should be equal as a normal TH7 player doesn't have too much elixir to waste. It also seems like it'll take some time before this ratio can possibly be equal.Quote:
