The Major League Clashing is a league founded upon the principle of creating a competitive environment for clans. The league has no control over the clans that participate in it,as long as, clans abide to the rules. With the addition of friendly clan wars,This league will be able to add a new meaning to winning a clan war. If you would like for your clan to participate post some basic information about. This league will be a place where clans can declare fair war against each other in league based system. For those sports fans out there, it will be the NFL of clash of clans. I'm also looking for people to help organize the league if you would like to help post basic information about yourself and how you would like to help.

Since friendly clan wars is just round the corner,I recommend you try this wonder league out for your clan.

You haven't done anything wrong. But, it is a copy of LoC, and any clans participating will NOT be taking part in LoC.

Knock off ? Seriously? The loc was a very selective league which only allowed a certain amount of clans . I made this league because I felt like all clans should be able to participate in meaningful competition regardless of their level.You should be happy that League of Clans has a rival to compete against.Maybe someday we could do LOC all stars vs MLC all stars.

So it's a LoC for lower levels?

You're free to do as you wish. But I would compare LoC to a full time job and so would our staff members. Ryan was a little harsh. However to put it simply - It's business, and you're competition.

I like competition, and I don't like loosing.

No point in replying to this one, as Tandy said its business, LoC has been going for months. I mean, we have most of the Heard of forum clans participating, so basically this is a LoC for a lower level.

Just some advice, you need to put a lot more effort into this thread, the planning, and the way you are going to work this thing. You need to have time on your hands, dedicated staff, and intelligence.

Because this is a sort of copy from LoC. What happens if say both leagues were having a competition and the dates crossed? It ruins the leagues organisation. So I will say it again, any clans participating here will not be involved in LoC.

We ARE friends but looks like a bunch of bullying is going on here over a competition. The forums is suppose to be a place where clashers come together and share tips, socialize and take place in fun events together. Manuel is trying to put together a friendly competition which in principle is suppose make the game more fun with some friendly banter. Yes, looks like Manuel's competition can overlap with LoC but that doesn't mean he can't work around you guys. No where does it say that you guys own the copyrights to the word "Competition" and therefore no one else is allowed to organize a competition also. I agree, LoC is a lot more organized competition but that doesn't mean you guys can come to this thread and start talking all that trash. Manuel is just trying to bring more clans together especially those who don't meet LoC requirements. It's actually kinda sad what I was reading in this thread.

Everyone is entitled to hold and organize their own competition, it's a free game and a free forum to join with no one owning any rights a competitive concept. Excuse me, but I just hate seeing people getting picked on, threatened and bullied.

If I were Manuel I would keep on trying to contact more clans to take part in Major League Clashing and not let this get him down.

I think it sounds like a loc copy to me with maybe some champions of clash thrown in. Shield admirably as your efforts may be dont underestimate the time and organisation it takes to put such an event on. It sounds mighty ambitions and not very well thought out just yet. No offence.

Loc is excellently run and executed and so is champions of clash. Maybe start with some in-clan comps until you guys are ready to join some of the supreme forum comps we already have.

My thoughts are this, if he's trying to organize his own competition why stop him? If his competition fails and falls short I'm sure he will either learn from his mistakes and organize a better one next time or maybe he will experience the hardships of organizing one and wont do one next time. Everyone has to start from somewhere and if he thinks he's up to that task then he should do it. I guess I'm just one of those people who doesn't let other people tell them what they can and can't do.

Guys, I agree with Veraplay. This is a game that is supposed to be enjoyed. Why place restrictions on clans who are just looking for a bit of fun, and are not yet ready to join LoC? I am sure Manuel can organise the dates so that it does not coincide with LoC competitions.

Some clans, including us, love some friendly banter. Hopefully Major League Clashing will provide this without the competition being too serious. Not all clans can compete with Crucible and the like.

Which is why we run a higher and a lower division. Both facilitate the needs of most of the forum clans already. We're not saying Manuel is wrong... It's just been pointed out by others even those not associated with the league that his idea just isn't something original. When I look at his OP I see the cookie cutter lines he's taking from the League. Everything down to some grey lines for rules, to the wording of the OP. Imagine waking up one day finding someone who is trying to imitate your hardwork...

Those of us who have spent countless months working on something day and night, as a staff, sacrificing time for a game we love, and for a project come online to find someone for all intents and purposes trying to imitate it for what? I offered him a helping hand, he declined. That's his deal, not mine.

But I don't think you understand where we are coming from. We play this game because it's fun and LoC is very competitive and serious in any division. This competition is more revolved around fun rather than whose the best and such.

However, the reason you are getting League of Clans comparison hate is because this is obviously similar; and even a blind man could tell you used it to get the idea for this.

If you just added a small piece like. "Inspired by the success of League of Clans". And you would be fine, rather then asking everyone to stop hating it. Give credit where credit is due.

But again, good luck with the contest; I think it's great there are a number of forum based competitions springing up.

Perhaps could have done it better, I will give you that. But I know for a fact the guys behind the scenes of League of Clans have worked hard for months to get the game to where it is now.

This pops up, clearly feeding off that idea giving no credit whatsoever; and clearly the original poster here never asked them for permission to use a similar idea.

If you worked on something for months, would you be happy with someone copying your idea and giving you no credit whatsoever, and never asking you if they could use something similar? Think about it.

I completely understand that LoC run higher and lower divisions, but all these divisions are too competitive for our liking. I recognise that lots of clans like tough competition, but all we want is just some friendly banter without making it too serious.

Agree. I like your idea of giving the LoC some credit. This means Major League Clashing can continue to grow and flourish while also giving clans a pointer to the LoC if they would like a more competitive environment.

I would disagree. If i didnt play this game for fun I wouldn't be here right now. The League of Clans is extremely fun. Its part of what drives us to play and simply has a solid infrastructure with the integral parts to make a forum competition successful. I dont think any player or clan involved would participate if it wasn't fun. You take it for what its worth. You can have fun with it or be serious. Either way making assumptions dont do your PR any good. I respect what you are doing its fine with major league. Just be ready for quite a bit of upkeep to make it work. Get the right people. Its a b*tch but its worth it in the end if you have your heart in it.

Do you see how he is trying to cooperate? well i don't see any representatives from LoC cooperating with him. This is what I find sad.

The best solution I see is to just give LoC some credit and it should suffice. I feel like this competition is for those who can't make it into LoC bc their clan levels are too small. There are clans out there that wish to participate in LoC but can't and are forced to sit on the the sidelines. This MLC is an awesome alternative that gives clashers a way into a friendly competition.

LoC is also fun, we don't do it to stress ourselves out hah Although, if this competition is finalized, you'll realized that if you're head to head towards the end with another clan it becomes stressful bc you surely want to come out on top hah So it's fun unless it gets close, then it becomes stressful bc you want to win! I'm sure that will be the same case in MLC if it comes down to the bitter end lol

This is what I would suggest, just give some credit somewhere to LoC and hopefully this whole issue may be resolved. It's unfortunate that such a positive attempt at bringing clans together is being soiled by negativity over such an issue.

It may even be worth starting a new thread for this, give some credit to LoC and state why this is different; why it has a different purpose. Things should sail smoother then.

You have support from the Fire family (Fire Shield, Fire Fort, Fire Angel), and I would like to enter the clan Fire Shield, going to check if Fire Angel wants to do this and going to enter Fire Fort once they fill up. If you need organisers I will help. I respect the hard work of LoC and others, but let others have a go at getting a league done.

Whats the point of a league tho if its not competitive? :confused: The fun part comes from the competitiveness and knowing that being on top counts for something and that if you lose, you gave it your best shot. Flex your muscle.

Yes, any clans participating in this will not be allowed to take part in LOC. The main reason being what if both leagues have a competition and the dates clash. And maybe I was Abit harsh with *knock off* but like Daz said, a blind man could see where you got this idea.

That's because we want to be independent, we are not a cheap copy of LOC, we focus on other aspects of gameplay. We have nothing to do with L.O.C, therefore please leave us alone.

Ryan has been taken care of. He comments were totally out of line.

Secondly I DID REACH OUT to him personally over PM because that isn't a discussion to have over forum posts.
I offered him help, and to merge his idea. He declined.
So in short, Ryan's comments were harsh but not completely unwarranted, but he doesn't run the League. I do. What I say stands. I offered him help, and when he declined, I offered him luck and good wishes. Period End of story.

You offered to take over my league and make it a third division to LOC.You should really control your people,no pointing in posting something if it isnt nice and ruining a perfectly good thread. I have respected your LOC thread,sadly I cant say the same about your people over the MLC thread. Change your quote is doesn't even exist anymore.

Alright then guys. I take back everything I've said, and I sincerely apologise, i have realised that I have been biased and un respectable, and I will no longer be with the LOC.

I've been talking to some clan leaders hopefully they can accept the invite to participate into the league.

This is not a reflection on your efforts, rather a reflection of the Cave. We are pretty laid back most of the time with an occasional Family Feud with the other clans of the Bear Family.
