Update jan. 7?

The title says it, I checked my inbox in the game and it says the boost lasts until January 7th. So can we be expecting an update around that time? I haven't gotten my x mas tree yet and if this is correct I only have 8 days left until I don't get one

Perhaps it might just be a maintenance break to rid of the snow, presents and trees.

And most likely the ability of the xmas tree spawning.

A lot of people, including myself, haven't got one yet. Which I think is pretty stupid. I don't really want to start hating on the game because of the xmas tree, that'd be hilarious, but really, why make them so rare? Everyone should've gotten at least 1 xmas tree by the 24th - just to be fair and give everyone that "privilegue" of having one (which shouldn't be a privilegue but instead just something to get a smile on people's faces)

to ThatOneGuy: Got a question . You know that neither Supercell neither Mods are gonna tell you anything about next update date , so just asking , whats the point to make this? Nicely asked hoping for a nice response....

Well, there is always threads about the update release date, and I thought I was actually right about the update being released on January 7, but I never considered just a maintenance just to stop the snow,trees, and boost

I was thinking a maintenance to stop the boost, but before i saw the jan. 7 date i thought it would be sometime late december, but before New Years. I don't think they'd have a maintenance that late to take care of everything but no new update.
