[Base Design] Tesla Typhoon: A th9 farming base

After tweaking with this base for weeks, I have finally found a base that fulfills my needs as a hardcore town hall 9 farmer. Without further ado, here it is:

BASE FEATURES

• Centralized Clan Castle
• High DPS core
• Optimal splash coverage
• Unique funneling
• Highly protected Dark Elixir
• Secondary Storages provide as tanks for main storages
• Semi-Centralized Air Defense

With spring traps in front of defenses to deter giants, and bombs in front of resources to kill off goblins, even penetrating the first layer is a hard task. Once past the first layer, attackers are pelted by Splash Defenses and the highest DPS building at TH9, Hidden Teslas.

Note: This base is most effective with high level teslas

Wow! Well thought out! I like it alot!

Everything is spaced very well. Do you have any defensive logs? that's key when showing off a base.

Yes, I know that, but sadly, I have only been attacked by town hall snipers for the last 5 days or so. I will be breaking shield every time someone snipes my th so that I get more attacks. Once I get some full-fledged attacks, I will make sure to post the results :D

Looks like a really nice base although it's not anti-hog!

Why did i read it as "after twerking with this base for weeks

I really love the outside of the base- as someone else said, the point defenses are spread out very nicely. I will be going to TH9 in a couple weeks- would you recommend this as a good starting base?

Although this is a fantastic town hall 9 base, i don't know how effective it is without xbows. So I would keep your th8 base until your xbows build, and then you could try out this base! Another alternative is to use this base, and switch the xbows with your two heroes (if you have your archer queen yet). I used pingfaos grand tesla theme park with heroes switched for the xbows and that worked out fine. I hope this helped!

Well, your not going to get anywhere in life if you don't have confidence in yourself, right?

I have no idea if this is good or not. it looks good but any defense logs?

I'm not getting any real attacks, only th snipes.... I might need to find some town hall 10's to ♥♥♥♥ off :rolleyes:

Well, looking through my log, I found three real attacks. On the most succesful one, the attacker managed to get 2 storages, but with the new loot system, he got a lot of resources.

Note: Dark Elixer Storage has not been touched (except for lightning spells :/ )

If you want to get serious attacks go up to around 2200+ trophies. You may get attacked at 1700 but it wouldn't really test a bases layout as compared to higher echelon attacks.

Wow, I'm not even at TH9 just yet, and I think I might use this base once I get there. Haven't really seen many better TH9 farming bases than this one. Nice work!

Alright, thanks for the suggestion! I was planning on using the black whole but I've heard a lot of mixed reviews about it. Hoping this works as well as it looks! And thank you for posting defense logs, you may want to add them to the original post.

The attacker, a level 114 mind you, got one elixer storage, and 4 fifths of a gold storage.

here is an uptader picture of my base. I took out four walls to cover my Santa surprise, and put my giant bombs next to the holes. :p

This is a Farming Version I think of Junliang's Base

Might wanna try this base again once both my xbows are up haha
