Can somebody explain why after contributing 183 items in the event, I didn't get the Sledge :mad:
The thing is I only completed 4/5 points and I received it but she completed all an no sledge. Difference is I am on ios 7.0.4
My wife has the same issue. I instead got it. I have ios 7.0.4 but she has 6.0.1. What is yours?
Am I the only person here who hasn't received their sleigh. I finished all my event goals days ago! Why haven't I gotten my sleigh? Clearly, my mailman isn't doing his job?

We haven't gotten ours yet either. Must have something to do with different servers, or time zones. :( Looking forward to seeing it soon. :)
And mine! I didn't get my sleigh either. Whereas my partner who stopped contributing to the event after the the first prize, got his already :(

not sure if this applies to anyone here, but if you have a package from alfred already sitting on the ground waiting, he can't bring you another until you collect the first.
So it's not just me! I checked the event board this morning and saw we'd reached the goal and double checked for the package, but it wasn't there. I hope SC fixes this, I've really been looking forward to hitching my horse to the sleigh!

I notified Supercell that there seems to be a problem, but obviously haven't heard back... Hope they fix this problem and we get our sleighs!

Usually, most folks who didn't receive an end-of-event bonus didn't actually reach the qualification level. However, it appears as if everyone here did reach it and should have received the sled. :confused:
Being Christmas day, it's unlikely for this to get tended to today. Since it does sometimes take as much as 24 hours for a gift to arrive due to discrepancies in time between where a local server is and the origin server linked to spit out the sled for a player, if Alfred has not brought it with his delivery tomorrow, I suggest placing an in-game Report an Issue ticket.
Oft times, force closing the app completely resets the game and the item does arrive. Yet several of you have already tried that to no avail. If there are any who have not yet done this, please give it a try.
Did not get my sled either. My husband did not get his. We both met our goals and then some. Did the reboot thing and that did no good. Sure hope they intend on fixing this thing. Doesn't seem quite fair that people that didn't complete the goal got their sleds and we didn't. I would like my sled.
It is NOT based on time zones for sure.
I just checked my farm as well as my mom's and we both didn't receive it.

I met all my personal goals and tried restarting my HD app as well as my IPad and no sled for me. My daughter received hers though.
I have contributed 153 woolen items and have rebooted Hay Day and my iPad - all to no avail. My friends and neighbors have received their sleds, and I would like to receive mine as well. It isn't fair for those who reached their goals did not receive sleds.

My friend did only the first personal goal and got a sled. But she is also running an old version of iOS (old iTouch).
I contacted Supercell about this issue..their reply :-

I am sorry for the misunderstanding. I can assure you that everybody who contributed towards reaching the goal for the global event have received the rewards. Please bear in mind that you received the rewards only when the goal was reached and not after the event was over.

I have replied that I completed the Event within 2 days as I already had s lot of the items already in my Barn, and used Tom to collect the rest of the items. I am so cross about this. Had I have known, I would never have used Tom for this event at all :mad:
I don't think they actually understood what you were trying to tell them...that you already knew this and it didn't work as it should have.
Again, patience is required. I myself have received diamonds from an event nearly a day later as have many others, so most missing sleds should arrive.
Yes, it can be. There is often a delay due to servers being in different time zones. There is more than one server in the line before you are reached...it is a succession of servers from origin to destination (you). You and your mother may be on one local server and your brother on another local server, or his got through but the other two are waiting at a server back in the line. The origin server may be on the other side of the world. If there is a backlog or breakdown in any of the servers along the line, delays and even dropped and lost deliveries will happen.
And again, if this is a glitch, it will be fixed when the holidays are over. Give it 24 hours and if not still not received, then place a in-game ticket.
Well at least someone got a response from them. I didn't, and anytime I try to contact them with an issue they never contact me back! I understand that it's Christmas, but this isn't the first time they haven't contacted me back. Pile on that I hired Tom to make my goals and not get my sleigh, I am mad. It better be because I am on a different server than everyone else that has gotten theirs!
So far I have not received the sled either. Contributed more than the required amount to fulfill all personal goals (and received five great holiday decor items). Have reset my iPad. This is the second time I have not received the global prize for an event despite completion of all required contributions. I sent a ticket last time and never heard back after receiving the automatic acknowledgment message.
If SC is out of sleds, I would be delighted to accept a windmill in its place!
Same here. My wife and I both completed the event at the same time, from our stock and with use from Tom.

I did not receive the sleigh after contributing 110 items! My mother received it but she contributed 39 items.. I resetted hayday but that did not work as well. I hope SC Will fix this soon.
I have received my other rewards, but I have noticed one of my rewards dissapeared. One of the rewards was the snowball lantern and suddenly I have to pay 5 diamonds to get it. Does anyone recognize this problem?

The mailman did not bring the package however the sleigh was in storage where things that are won are stored.

Well, it seems that there are an awful lot of farmers who have not received their sleds. I am one of them as well. I finished my goal early and then went on to help others reach their goal. Doesn't seem quite fair not to receive what we worked for.
I think that it is also interesting that none of the head honchos at SC have responded to this problem to let us know what is going on. I am hoping that they will make good on this and give us all our sleds. I know that a lot of us used Tom and many of our resources to help the global community. If this is not resolved, I will certainly think twice about doing another global challenge. Thanks

Yes, this seems to be the first time that the reward was not given correctly after a global challenge. I finished mine earlier and helps others too by adding in all I could to the global pot...the goal needed for the global challenge was reached on Christmas Day UK time and it would have been lovely for us to get our prize that day. I used Tom to help others and paid for extra time with real diamonds (I.e. hard cash! )
They still have not sorted out the other problem regarding accidental speeding up and that can also waste a lot of our diamonds that are bought with real money. The brilliance of this game is spoiled very much by this problem.
I have also emailed SC and heard nothing.
I think they need to make it up to us by giving us our sledge and alSo something extra to make up for the disappointment.

Similiar to those posted above, I have also not recieved a sled. With the help of my husband (who did recieve a sled) I was able to complete the 152 wool products. The postman sadly didn't arrive.
My hope is that the sc team will fix this once they've arrived back from their holiday celebrations.
I belong to a small Hay Day Group, I posted in the group about the issue some of us were having. Somebody said they had only just finished the Event and had received the Sleigh/Sledge, which kind of makes a mockery of the email I had from support telling me you had to finish the event before the total was reached..which I had done within the first 2 days of the Event starting..I am posting a screen shot of the persons post in this post below..I have removed her Id for security reasons

Is if forgotten that it's Christmas? SC employees have families that they wish to spend the holidays with just as you do. They are allowed time off from work just like everyone else. This WILL be taken care of when employees return from their holidays....which they rightfully deserve.
Unfortunately, either whoever wrote to you didn't explain correctly or you misunderstood. Each event has several levels (personal goals), each with it's own prize award. In order to qualify for the event BONUS (in this case, the sled), you need to achieve the GLOBAL level, which is the level marked by the blue globe. If you do NOT reach this, you won't get the bonus. If you DO reach this, you will (if all internet delivery paths remain unbroken) receive the bonus AT THE TIME the goal amount is achieved. If the event goal is achieved before the event time runs out, the even will continue till the end time to allow all participants the opportunity to fulfill all of the personal goals/levels.
I'm going to copy/paste this from my post on the other thread on this issue for everyone to read and learn just how the internet works so you'll understand why many of you have not received your sleds...or diamonds from past events:

SC does not own the internet. They do not own every single one of hundreds of servers, nodes, routers, and other components that one digital sled may travel through to get to you. If any servers or other equipment along the way get jammed, breakdown, are undergoing maintenance or replacement, or just overloaded, much of the information traffic will be diverted by the owners of that particular equipment to any number of other stops, thereby, delaying arrival of the information (sled/diamonds). If data is corrupted along the way, the trip is ended and the item never reaches it's destination.

it is not forgotten that SC employees celebrate the holiday with their families, but that was yesterday and here is the US many of us are back to work today, the day after Christmas. Let us also not forget that many of us spend our hard earned money to rent Tom and we are feeling that our money and time has been wasted on something that was promised to us and we did not receive. Supposedly SC will take care of the issue whenever, but there have been other times in my personal experience that SC has not resolved the problem and I was out with nothing. We are frustrated and want resolution. If that is not understood, then I'm sorry about that, but we ALL want our sleds, sledges, sleighs, or whatever.
Not trying to be argumentative here--I am also back to work today, but the majority of my office is NOT. There are only a handful of people in my office today. SC may be running on a skeleton crew for the holiday. Or, they may not, but in any case, my guess is that all things are bogged down everywhere at the moment. Giving them a few days before we get bent out of shape isn't such a bad idea.
I have reached the event personal goal and no sled. But in previous events, if the world goal was met you still got that reward, is that no longer so? Only asking because hubby hasn't reached the personal end goal but also hasn't received the sled.
Thanks for the link. I fully understand Supercel may not be directly responsible for the prize getting lost in transit..that happens in quite a few games that are as big and complex as Hay Day. Indeed a game I used to play called Farm Town had the same sort of issues from time to time, because of the amount of servers involved, but when you contacted the support forum, or emailed support, they put it right..thats all we are asking for ..nothing more really. We do appreciate that its Christmas, and most of the staff may be on holiday..hopefully somebody from Supercel will drop in here and let us know they are going to resolve the issue soon
Yes that's fine....but this is a huge scale loss. There are so many who haven't received their sleigh. Never before has this happened, or we would have heard about it!!
and Im sure sure they would have at least one person working through Christmas to " man the fort" ..and would have expected some reply to this large scale glitch...?
Yes that's still the rule... If you reach the event world goal you receive the end goal when the target is reached.
but...
there seems to be some kind of glitch, as there are many players who haven't received their sleigh yet.. See the post on bugs and issues..
i didnt get get my sleigh and I contributed 168 woollies , whereas my partner stopped contributing after he made it to the global event stage, he got his nice sleigh when the target was reached yesterday
hopefully it will be rectified when sc get back to work.
It's a known issue. Supercell is working on it. I'm pretty confident they will make good on the prize for everyone who earned it eventually.

You are encouraged to please wait at least 24 hours before submitting it as an in-game bug/ticket since this is already a known issue.
I did not recieve the sled either. I completed my personal event goals many days ahead of the community goal. The following is SuperCells's response to my "no sled issue"

Sometimes it takes a while for Alfred (postman) to bring you the package with the gift (from the event). Please double-check next to your house on your farm, it usually leaves it next to the board orders the truck and the house. Also, please make sure you opened all the packages that might have been delivered so that Alfred can come back with the last package you have ordered.
Since I have to packages outside of my house and I am VERY sure that I completed my event goal several days ago, I am assuming that I will NEVER receive me sled

hubby has no Facebook. He is fredbaf om gamecenter and his farm is called onder de panne.
Guess there is some type of issue. I also did not receive award despite 153 items submitted. My guess, they used UPS instead of normal mailman.... Everything UPS delayed up to a week lately as they did not anticipate the needs. Oh well, this is a game.... Maybe they will give us a couple diamonds extra as a bonus for the miss. I am more upset about the gift Fedex still has not delivered to best friend across the country.
I, too, didn't receive the sled! I completed my personal goal very quickly, and had only a very small amount to contribute the complete game total. I didn't play this morning due to holiday company and was disappointed that the prize was not received. Please fix this glitch. Thanks.

Correct me if I am wrong - you are eligible to receive the global bonus if you have completed all your personal goals.
It appears that some players receive the prize even if they have not completed the maximum personal goals - I suppose that is the global benefit if the rest of the world has hit the global target ...then everyone benefits. That's OK.
It is unfair if we have achieved the max personal goal and went beyond that and still do not get the global reward.
I contributed 200 and used Tom to help. Tom is paid for with real money so it is reasonable to expect to get the promised prize.
SC need to get involved here and sort this out before they are flooded with ticket requests.
